psyched_out corrected me and said March 2002 wasn't the first 2601 party, the first one was actually August 2001. Of course, I'm pretty sure he got the date in August wrong, it was a week earlier than he thought. Apparently, I didn't have anything to say about that one. But what I did write in that time frame makes me realize how dated that post was. Among other things, I mentioned how that Alien Ant Farm cover of Smooth Criminal sounded pretty cool. Ha! Its like those sitcoms where they go flashback to the 80s and you see them with the big hair and wearing the Member's Only jackets talking about how rocking A Flock of Seagulls is. Where are those guys now? (Alien Ant Farm, but I wonder where the Flock of Seagulls peeps are now too)
Reading those posts (and my old gtg postings) I realize it is a little hard to distinguish what was reality and what was fantasy. Its like I'll read a story and wonder, am I talking about something I saw on TV or something that really happened?
