TV commentary:

Garfunkel and Oates- So one of the promos for the show, the one where Weird Al chastises themselves for calling themselves Garfunkel and Oates and making fun of two rock and roll hall of famers made me wonder if they really were in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. clevemire said Simon and Garfunkel for sure, but I looked it up and saw Hall and Oates were indeed in there as well. And why not? They have tons of awesome songs, "Rich Girl", "Private Eyes", and of course, "You Make My Dreams", which is of course is an excuse to post my favorite scene from 500 Days of Summer:

(So clevemire's cousin's college friend is the real life Summer, and apparently that whole movie is a lie. She hardly knew Joseph Gordon Levitt's character!)

But I digress, I was highly amused by this week's ep. ( spoiler cut )

Legend of Korra- Holy cow, is it me, or was that season finale pretty brutal? Like there was some pretty dark stuff there, particularly for kids. I mean, some of it cuts away, so its off screen, but its still kinda horrific! ( spoiler cut )
