Nov. 4th, 2012 02:32 pmEven more AC3 blather- Friggin animals man! Honestly, I'm less scared of every British soldier in Boston being after me than randomly wandering into a wolf pack in the frontier. Seriously, animals are friggin lethal! I think its because there's WAY less room for error with them. If they charge you, it becomes one of those press this button at this exact time, followed by this one type of things in order to avoid its attack and kill it. Otherwise it takes you down and ravages you, wherein you have to quickly tap a button to get it off you. But their attack whittles you down way fast, like you'll be lucky to be at half health after one of their attacks. And if its a group and another one pounces on you, you're most likely dead if you're at half health or below.
I do like the fact you can reload to the last checkpoint in a mission now, so if you mess up an optional objective, you don't have to start all the way from the friggin beginning to get it right.
Finally, from what I've been seeing, Ezio is still the "coolest" of the assassin's, but Connor is prolly considered the baddest-ass. Dude is brutal! Ezio, his finishers were quick and elegant. A deft parry to a lethal stab to a vital organ or something similar. With Connor half the time its like, he gets his opening, gets the kill, and proceeds to hack the guy up for several more seconds. "Uh, I think the guy is dead already, no need to tomahawk him half a dozen more times!"
