Person of Interest- Interesting ep. ( spoiler cut )

Coming out of the cut, quick thing I forgot to touch on from last week's Dexter- I thought Sarah from Chuck's (I forget her name in this, and her real last name is too crazy to spell) line about running away to South America to live in a farm was amusing. Like she said, she friggin grew up on a farm. The reason she supposedly went on that crime spree with that guy was because of the excitement and getting to travel around. Yeah, she'd be in an exotic place, but basically stuck on just another farm lying low from the authorities. Of course, she doesn't seem very trustworthy, like that's prolly a clue she's had a bigger hand in the crime spree than people think. If her partner's end game was just to run away and live in some podunk village south of the border, maybe she dumped him and got him caught to be free of him.

Degrassi- The Maya storyline was slightly silly because, oh yeah, she's not pretty! WTF?! I guess the point is she looks all cutesy and young (well, because she is cutesy and young) and not a head turner. But again, that's because she is still just a kid. I guess another point was her misunderstanding why people like Cam and Katie were laughing at her wanting to enter the pageant, its less that they don't think she's pretty enough, just that it doesn't seem like her thing. But the weirdest part of the story was Mo wanting to teach the song she wrote to Imogen because he wants it sung by someone with more sex appeal. I mean, Imogen is a very pretty girl also, but she basically has the same look. Well, Imogen has a weirder, more unique style, but while she's not as young looking as Maya, she's still young looking. I realize those are the only two girls in the band, but realistically, if he had to think of a girl with a more mature look to be the eye candy on stage, Imogen is not that big a step in that direction.

Oh, but this pageant thing, I'm guessing there'll be a Zig-Maya-Tori triangle brewing?

Speaking of Mo, his storyline was also silly. I mean, I'm not diabetic, so maybe some people with diabetes are sensitive about it, and don't want people to know, but I didn't think it carries such a big stigma about it that he'd keep it a secret from Marisol. Well, we don't know its diabetes yet, but c'mon. The syringe, being all out of it until he got a cookie? Not to mention he's a big, fat guy?

Well, Marisol not figuring it out, sure, she's kinda an idiot. But honor-student Katie? And wtf, Marisol took the syringe out of his bag without his knowledge! Hope he has extra insulin and/or doesn't end up needing an injection and finding out its not in his bag!
