TV commentary:

Alphas- So, a snippet I saw of one of the reviews of this week's Alphas piqued my interest, so I decided to check the ep out.

Interesting, so they're adding a new girl to the team (well, I assume they are, given she's a credited cast member, not a guest), a kinda cute little blond with the Taskmaster power named Kat. Like Taskmaster and his daughter Finesse, she has memory issues from all the skill absorption. Although I realize they never had Echo (the Marvel character, not the Dollhouse one) have such issues. Is it because she's deaf, so with the loss of that sensory input, her brain can handle the influx of skills? Or is it just, they didn't come up with that idea for Taskmaster (and then Finesse) until the last few years, and they really haven't done anything with Echo in a while so there hasn't been a chance to look into such an issue. In any case, I kinda liked the banter between her and Harken.

And wait, was Azita Ghanizada always this cute? She's hotter than the "pusher" chick. Owel, while that new guy was prolly right in that it wouldn't be professional if they went on a date, he's a stronger man than I. I'd be all sure, and even if I did think, "Wait, this prolly isn't wise!" I would cave as soon as I saw how hurt puppy she looked when I turned her down.

Thing that has blown my mind for today: Jeremy Renner was Penn on Angel! So ND was making a comment about not realizing Hawkeye was in the new Bourne movie. So I decided to imdb him to see what the first thing I saw him in- I was thinking 28 Weeks Later, but SWAT was before that. But as it turns out, it was Angel! What the frick, and that's one of my favorite episodes too! It was the ep where Kate first finds out about Angel- someone has been killing people, and they think its Angel at first, but they eventually figure out its some random protege he had when he apparently wasn't hanging out with Darla, Spike, and Drusilla (and that random couple from the 3rd season premiere who they acted like had a history with Angelus and Darla). But I digress, I just thought the ep was cool, because on the show (and BtVS) up to that point, they've only shown regular people (not counting Slayer and friends) being attacked by vamps. I just thought it was interesting to see him stroll into the police station and wipe the floor with everyone there to showcase how dangerous vamps really are.

But I digress again, like I said, thinking about it now, that totally was Jeremy Renner! It just blows my mind he was doing random guest spots on Angel. But I guess everyone has to get their start somewhere. Amusingly enough, he's not the only person from MI:4 to randomly appear on Angel, lest we forget before Sawyer was on Lost, he was a random vampire who Angel dusts in the pilot for Angel.

Oh, Renner was also in an ep of Time of Your Life, which as I think I posted about a few months ago, I totally forgot existed. Time of Your Life being the JLH-centered spinoff of Party of Five (pgv('What the hell is Party of Five?!')). Once I started recalling it, I remembered that Jennifer Garner was on it after Felicity but before Alias. But I had no recollection of Pauly Perrette being on it. I mean, its hard to imagine her as anything but Abby on NCIS.

Just saw that Riff-Off clip from that upcoming "Pitch Perfect" movie:

Call me ghey, but this movie is going to be so awesome, ah can't wait!

Speaking of ghey things, so I was flicking through the channels and caught some of that Baby Daddy show. So, I knew it was about the son from Kyle XY having to raise a baby that an ex left him. I didn't realize Stella from Jonas was his formerly fat friend who's harboring a crush on him, but also that his brother is this NHL hockey player whom she confides in about her crush, not knowing the brother likes her. Sounds like its totally my kinda corny-ass crap! I mean, its not enough to make me actually watch the show, but I do find the situation entertaining.
