So today, had a little get-together for my b-day with the usual suspects. Lots of good food as usual, lot of fun was had. All in all, a fun day.

Dexter- Damn this show and making Dex and Lumen so adorable (he doesn't get her silly little baubles, he gets her a well balanced knife!), I'm totally freaking it won't work out between these two. I mean, Dex suffered quite the tragedy the end of last season, isn't he due a little happiness? It seems like he's finally found a true partner (The couple that slays together, stays together!) it would be sad if he lost her.

In other news, apparently Amber Heard is a big lesbo? spcv('Nice!') So Portia De Rossi is no longer the hottest for-real lesbian?

My attempt to be obtuse, but instead end up being totally transparent gross comment of the day: I've mentioned before Stoya has finally done "certain things". Well, I've seen it, and it is good! Too bad she waited to do it after she stopped being so "smooth". Because she is a pale, pale girl, so the current look is not as aesthetically pleasing. Owel, the only negative mark for something that is otherwise totally awesome.

HIMYM- Seriously, do Justin and his sister Alex (the Nikita one, not the WoWP one, though both pretty bangable) get a paycheck for just sitting there? I mean, I thought they just re-use stock footage, but occasionally in eps like this, they do something like yell "What?" or in this ep, "look especially bored". I guess its free money to just sit there. (Though is it me, or did his kids look especially pissed to still be stuck there listening to their dad's story?)

Argh, continuity problem though- they say Marshall and Robin never hung out alone before, but there was the ep where they were hanging out at the Minnesota bar!

90210- Argh, it really sucks that they turned Ade into such a heinous bitch. She kinda brought her misfortune on herself this ep. Why would you piss off the guy who knows a deep secret who could ruin you. Sure, he needs her, but eventually if she pushes him enough, he'll cut his losses. Also, why did she not have that friggin notebook under lock and key? Or transcribe it somewhere else and destroy the original!

And where was Looney Laura this episode? She wasn't concerned at all that he got his ass kicked? And what's with Annie and Dixon being all, "You can't live in your car!", they know he's living with Laura. Or at least Dixon does, because the guys were making cracks about how he's whipped!

Gossip Girl- Argh, this show! On the one hand, I'm excited that they're setting up Dan/Blair, what with all the hanging out they did this ep plus apparently the hanging out they will do since they're the only two in their circle around in NY for the break. But now that I'm pretty sure they're going that direction, it can't come soon enough! Particularly since the next ep isn't until next year!

It does seem a little assy, given Serena seemed to pick Dan over Nate a few eps ago, and she just asked him to go on a roadtrip with him. But look what ended up happening! ( spoiler cut )
