Awesome, decided to finally try out the sausage pancake bites at Dunkin Donuts today. I got a normal order of 3, but they dropped one, and apparently they can only cook them in batches of 3, so I ended up getting 5 for the price of 3. They weren't too bad. They're no mcgriddle though!
TV Commentary:
So we're midway through the 2010-2011 TV season, so I figure its time to update my top 5 TV ships of the moment. I would make a picspam if I knew how, so this post is sans graphics. In no particular order:
1) Puck/Rachel, Glee- With Puck being AWOL for half the eps so far, and the show seemingly pushing Finchel, it was great that we got some Puckelberry moments last week. But with Finn and Rachel on the outs now, maybe will get some more tonight? Particularly since they are a couple of "hot Jews" and would have that to share between them while everyone else is Christmas-ing it. (Though what's up with them having Rachel sing "Merry Christmas Darling"? Hopefully the show will not actually forget she and Puck are Jewish!)
2) Dan/Blair, Gossip Girl- I am so egg-cited the show has finally decided to give Dair a try. This past ep definitely laid the ground work for them to become friends, if not more.
3) Jeff/Annie, Community- Last season's finale ending was awesome, but then the 2nd season premiere seemed to nip it in the bud. But then they had "Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design", and its obvious Jeff and Annie still have feelings for each other. Not that the show doesn't have everyone attracted to everyone else.
4) Damon/Elena, Vampire Diaries- Some people are all, "But he's an evil a-hole who's terrorized her and her friends!" Well sure, before, but he's trying to be a better man for her nowadays. Plus, you could cut the UST between them with a knife! With Stefan locked in with Kat, who knows what will happen with Damon and Elena? Given the end of "Rose" though, I doubt Damon would actually do anything.
5) Barney/Robin, HIMYM- I adore this pairing and was giddy when they finally got together. But then the show ran them into the ground. But they have been slowly getting back to their previous levels of awesomeness together, with the high point this season being "Natural History" and Robin being the only one privy to the whole thing about Barney finding out who his real dad is. If at the end of the series, Saget!Ted says they don't end up together, that will be total BS!
Weird, I realize in none of these pairings are the people actually together currently. But the shows definitely seem like they're headed that direction, if only for a little bit.
Honorable mentions:
6) Dexter/Lumen, Dexter- As I've said, they make the cutest serial killing couple. Too bad they prolly won't last.
7) Andy/Erin, The Office- This is not to say I don't like Jam or Michael and Holly. But Jim and Pam are together and have been for a while now. And since Holly isn't a regular, that whole thing is progressing at a snail's place. But Erin and Andy are kinda Jam 2.0, just way more dorky.
8) Tony/Ziva, NCIS- speaking of moving at a snail's pace, I'm starting to wonder if these two will ever get together. I mean, they've dropped hints recently that they've started making progress on this front, but hardly anything has been going on. I guess they really are worried about the Moonlighting factor?
