So as I went to get some breakfast at Junior's this morning, I was shocked to see the place packed. It must've been some special program, since there was stacks of bags and pillows all over the place. Some cuties in it too. Though I eventually found out it was Connect With Tech, so I guess some of them were HS-ers. Oops. Anyways, who's genius idea was to have them have breakfast at Junior's?! I mean, sure, its a great place to show prospective students, all "Here's a place with great fresh made breakfast you can eat at!" But I love Junior's and all, and the staff seem like nice people, but the place has been grossly understaffed for a while, and the staff they do have is kinda old and slow. So mebbe you want to think about that before you have them make breakfast for like 50-100 people?

Anyways, got a better version of the Sam version of the California Dreams theme on my ipod. As I said before, the officially released version is the Jenny one, and while she does sing well and has a strong voice, I like Sam's version better, it sounds more sweet and down to earth. The song I had was obviously taken from an episode, but I figured out what episode it was and found a quality version of it. recorded the song myself.

Other stuff I got a hold of over the weekend: almost all of Amy Brooke's (link NSFW) scenes of a certain kind (if you know what I mean, and I think you do) that's she's done so far. I like her, she's kinda cute, and she's as enthusiastic (like I can't believe she can walk afterward!) and "adventurous" (is that what they call it?) as Sasha Grey was before she went legit. I'm kinda curious how close the Entourage version of Sasha is to her in real life? I mean, the line where she says she hasn't done pr0n stuff in a while because she's been getting legit stuff, is that true? And how weird and meta is that, she's talking about not doing pr0n in a while b/c she's in legit stuff, but that legit stuff, besides that Soderbergh movie, is Entourage. But on Entourage, she doesn't have Entourage, since that show wouldn't exist in that universe, so what is the legit work that the Entourage version of her has?

Oh, I forgot to mention, before RE: Afterlife, got a new Social Network trailer, one that doesn't Scala and Kolacny cover of Radiohead's "Creep". Rather, this version had Kanye West's "Power". Short song, but the video for that song is interesting, I'm guessing its "300"-influenced?

Also got a trailer for Priest. Hmm, do I know someone who reads that manga? Or apparently, manhwa, since its Korean?

And is it me, or is Ellen Page kinda hot in this clip from "Super"? Though I guess I'm twisted if I find her almost killing a guy who possibly keyed her friend's car as hot.

Argh, its been an annoying day. You know, I think I'm pretty chill about the big things, but as anyone can tell you, it seems its the little things that actually piss me off, and its just been a string of little things since this morning. Maybe its because I don't give the big things their due, so when its the small stuff that goes wrong I just get incredibly pissed.

But I digress. TV Commentary:

Entourage- Interesting season finale. Is it just the season finale, because I heard the show was definitely ending, and that would be a weird and dark way to end things. Or is it one of those things where a site reports a show ending, but all that means is they definitely have a final season coming up, it just isn't the current one? I know Vince is supposed to be the protagonist and all, but is it wrong to feel strangely satisfied about him getting a big comeuppance here?

I mean, he's been a huge dick to all of his friends, who've been nothing but loyal to him. And could he have been a bigger a-hole to Sasha Grey? First, he knew what he was getting into when he started going out with a pr0n star. And frankly, I think its a little insulting that he thought she would quit just because they became an item. Its her career choice, and she likes it. He acts like he's saving her from something she frankly doesn't need or want saving from.

A certain someone thinks I'm crazy for thinking this, but its just sex! Its really no different than if he were to star in some romantic comedy with an ex of his. Its just a different kind of acting! Hell, I'd say pretending to get all romantic with an ex in a movie is worse, because that might spark something back up. A pr0n would just be about raw animal lust and getting off. And I've seen a lot of Sasha's work, so in her specific case, if I were Vince I wouldn't be so worried about that 5-guy gangbang she's doing, she doesn't seem like the type to get too attached just because they're doing what they're doing.

Of course, I'm also apparently a crazy person, or so I'm told, for not wishing ill will on a guy who's with some girl I had a thing for. Okay, if a guy ended up stealing some girl I was madly in love with and we were together, sure, I'd be pretty pissed. But why should I be that angry about a guy getting with a girl I hadn't yet gotten involved with, no matter how much I liked her. I prolly either sucked (which, owel, if I'm not her cup of tea, what can I do) or I snoozed and lost (making it my own damn fault), but overall, hey, at least someone's lucky enough to be with and her and make her happy. I'd be satisfied knowing they were happy, even if I wasn't that person for them. And even in the former case, I'd be pretty upset about the betrayal, but hey, if that's what she wants, if they truly felt that other person was worth throwing away what we had, then c'est la vie! I'd be pretty angry at first, but I'm a pretty forgiving person, I wouldn't hate them forever. The heart wants what the heart wants, and I can't really fault anyone for that.

But I digress. Back to the actual ep. spoiler cut, even though I spoiled stuff already )

TV commentary:

90210- What the EFF?! I was baffled by the beginning, where Annie and Dixon are back in school like everything is all normal. And I was trying to remember last season's finale, like didn't she finally reveal to her parents that she killed a guy? But apparently she only got house arrest and probation until she was 25. Ida know, mebbe it was because she was underage, but seriously, only a summer of house arrest for KILLING A GUY IN A HIT AND RUN?! And if that wasn't ridiculous enough, Mr. Matthews proclaims Annie has "paid her dues", so she should get on with her life.

And didn't they do this Ivy-Dixon-Oscar storyline with Adrianna-Navid-Teddy at the beginning of last season? more, under a spoiler cut )

More TV Commentary:

Man, I am not looking forward to next Monday, when every network channel has a show I watch at 8pm- HIMYM on CBS, Chuck on NBC, House on Fox, 90210 on CW.

Gossip Girl- spoiler cut )

True Blood- Suckeh's intense glee when she taunted Russell by dumping Talbot's remains down the garbage disposal was kinda hilarous. But also extremely mean and cruel! Sure, Russell's a psychotic evil bastard, but pouring his true love's remains down the sink? Harsh! Maybe its because I'm a nice guy. Like in the movie The Chumscrubbers, the main antagonist was this psycho bully who wanted to join the Air Force and fly jets. And in the end, even though he was about to kill a kid, the kid fights back and ends up taking the knife that was about to be used to stab him to slash the bully's eye. Which basically destroyed the bully's chances of ever becoming a fighter pilot. And its just another one of my weird idiosyncrasies, but had the kid just killed the prick, I would've cheered. But maiming the guy like that and taking away his one dream from him like that is overly-excessive to me. I mean, obviously being killed would cause him not to be able to fulfill his dream either. So from the post from a while ago, I'm apparently fine with graphic ultra-violence, as long as its done on a "bad guy", but crushing a bad guy's hopes and dreams is over the line for me? Like I would be okay with some evil dick getting his arm cut off, except if he was like this star quarterback who was wanting to use his golden arm to get out of the podunk town he lived in? But I digress. Seriously, burnt-flakey Russell was one of the grossest things I've ever seen. spoiler cut )
