You're so effin special!

I'm so impressionable when it comes to music played in things like movie trailers and commercials. So, I though the cover of "Creep" in that trailer for that lame looking "Social Network" movie was kinda cool, so I went and looked up who it was, finding the answer here. Apparently, its a Belgian girl's choir called Scala and Kolacny Brothers, one Kolacny brother being the conductor and the other accompanying the girls on piano. Apparently, they did a lot of covers, many of which sound pretty nice- "Creep", "You Oughta Know", (hey, its like some of my go-to Rock Band songs), "Friday I'm In Love", "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Yellow", "Enjoy the Silence", etc.

OMG, this scene from the Degrassi Takes Manhattan movie. That is like the most hilariously awesome thing ever on this show, I can't believe they went there (even though the tag for Degrassi on the N was "it goes there!") I mean seriously, I know they've tackled some controversial issues (teen pregnancy, abortion, homosexuality, mental illness, drug use, school shootings and other deaths), but this?!! ( spoiler cut )

What's up with effers knocking at the door at 830pm at night trying to sell you a paper subscription? I mean, who still reads the paper? Get your news off the internet, luddite! And are they really selling that stuff to help with their college tuition? It sounds like a scam to me, like those people who accost you in parking lots with some sob story about needing money for gas to get to a job interview. Like really, what are the chances of bumping into 5 random strangers with the exact same problem throughout your life?

But I digress, I wasted so much time letting this guy know I was not interested that I missed some of my show! That really grinds my gears!

Secret Life- What the, the whole Ashley/Ricky thing came out of nowhere! Well, I mean, they were obviously heading that direction, but they kinda went from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds didn't they? I mean, I can see them being in lust, they're teens. But in love? ( spoiler cut )

Degrassi- Oh, ha, I guess they had to get a Drake reference in there. But seriously, if you told me 5 years ago that the cripple kid on Degrassi would be a huge rap star nowadays, I'd be skeptical! ( spoiler cut )
