I don't play MMORPGs, but I took the Bartle Test of Gamer Psychology anyways:

Your gamerDNA is: Achiever
The Achiever motto: "No goal unfinished!"

Description:

Best, first and most are the favorite adjectives of the Achiever. They love comparison not only against others, but also with themselves. They enjoy setting goals, surpassing previous performances and hitting new milestones. They tend to have lots of high scores, badges, trophies and other concrete evidence of their successful endeavors--and they love it if someone notices these. However many enjoy the quiet satisfaction of knowing they simply did better than most.

Secondary influences

* Achiever Killers like to be the best-of-the-best at everything the game has to offer including PvP. They often mock Killer tactics such as surprise and stealth as "ganking" because they prefer a more controlled arena where fighting skills can be compared in a straight forward manner. Achievers often look to 1v1 duels for proof of their superior play and are frustrated by "rock paper scissor" game mechanics because of this. Their prowess in PVP is generally supported by a large degree of understanding and possession of the best equipment and skills.

* Achiever Explorers are interested in the PvE aspect of a game more than anything else. The AE thrives as a solo adventurer, counting coup with each new destination and discovery, poking into every corner of a map and toying with each nuance of a game mechanic. AEs prefer not to be hampered by a group and usually find PvP to be more an annoyance than a feature.

* Achiever Socializers appreciate groups, clans or guilds for than just pure social fun. An AS relishes the camaraderie of cooperation within a top flight team, savoring the renown gained from successfully pitting themselves against the grand-challenges of a virtual world and attaining goals that cannot be reached as an individual.

Okay, achiever is no surprise. I tend to try to get/do everything in a game for completeness sake. Because how can you leave something unfinished? Or not become the best you can be?!

I'm also not surprised that its ASKE rather than AKSE. While its the combat I enjoy the most in such games, I'd rather accomplish a goal with worthy friends than tackling it alone. Cause what fun is a victory if you don't have anyone to enjoy it with? Plus, many hands make lighter work. But mostly, AS makes sense because I enjoy games where I work with others to accomplish a goal rather than compete against them more. But I think the achiever aspect takes precedence because I still want to be a paragon. Though for its own sake rather than to show I'm better than other people. Being max level with all the best stuff just makes cents, I don't care where other people are in relation to me. If other people are so great, even better, I applaud them for striving to be the best.

The description for achiever-killer is apt though. RPGs, I tend to favor rogues and play them with a fighter bent rather than a straight fighter. Usually, assassins and duelists and the like- relying on stealth, speed, and skill rather than brute force and staying capacity. Though I disagree with the whole thinking using stealth and surprise as "cheap". I've rambled on for a while now and about to ramble on even more, so here's a cut for your benefit )

On the way back from picking up a free french toast special breakfast from Junior's, I passed by this girl who totally looked like Kate Bosworth. Which reminded me of that Death Bed Subtext video with her and Topher Grace on Funny or Die last week.

But speaking of raunchy talk, that Name the 50 sexiest songs according to Billboard.com on Sporcle the other day does have some odd choices. Particularly, Next's "Too Close" at #4. That as the fourth sexiest song, really?! I mean, its starts with "I wonder if she knows I'm hard right now?" line. Which is more vulgar than sexy. And the lyrics are both explicit and pretty ridiculous. How does one "dance like they're naked"?! And "you're dancing kinda close, I feel a little poke coming through, on you"?! Although I guess the quiz is ranking these songs on chart popularity. And its incorrectly named because it should be "top 50 songs about sex" which is not the same as sexy. Particularly since the list includes several songs known to be about masturbation, which isn't really "sexy" either.

But speaking of sex, how hilariously ridiculous was last night's Secret Life. spoiler cut )

And holy cow, I cannot believe I ranted that long about that ep. I mean, that's longer than some of my Lost and Glee posts, and I don't even really like this show!

Saw this on Gamma Squad today, some stage production where people dress up like My Little Ponies and pretend to be doing musical numbers. In particular, "And I Am Telling You" from Dreamgirls and my favorite song from Wicked, "Defying Gravity". (I know what you're thinking, "U R so gay!") What a coincidence, Glee both did those numbers (Mercedes doing the former and Rachel/Kurt doing the latter). But really, what the hell, talk about weird!
