Fricking frick, I can't believe I accidentally washed my earphones (since I left them in a pants pocket) when I did the laundry today.

Regarding tonight's HIMYM and NY vs NJ, who in their right mind would think NJ is better then NY?! It and Connecticut are just basically glorified suburbs of NYC anyways. So, its an okay place to live (particularly if you live in an area close to NYC), but no way is it cooler or superior to NY. I mean, what's so great about Jersey? It stinks! And I mean it in the smelly way! Seriously, just driving down the highways, its seriously rank! And all the gas stations are full service! Like how hard is it to pump your own gas!? And you think you have a physical and/or emotional connection with the chyx there, like you sleep with them at camp, or you help them take care of their nephew and show yourself to be a generally good guy, but then they don't talk to you ever again! But I digress. All in all, Jersey folks just secretly wish they were New Yorkers.

But some TV commentary:

HIMYM: cut for spoilers )

I'm glad they're running with the BrOTP though. As I said, I was pleasantly surprised that it became canon, given the number of other pairings I think would be cool in various fandoms that I doubt would ever be realized. Like they'd never really do Dasey on LWD (I mean, they're step-siblings, that's a little too risque, particularly for something that's more of a family show). And I'm skeptical they'd ever do Zutara, the hero can't not get the girl (couldn't they just pair Aang off with Toph?). Though with the current plots on Gossip Girl, I can see them doing Dair. I mean, with Dan and Serena and Blair and Chuck on the outs, with Dan on both Chuck and Serena's shite-lists, and Blair despising both of them, what better way to get them together than uniting them against common enemies? I am so lame.

Chuck- What's with all the Huey Lewis songs on Chuck this season? Ah, last year they had Rachel Bilson on Chuck, now they have a guest spot with Melinda Clarke. I've seen pics of Willa Holland on the Gossip Girl set, so its nice to see OC people still getting work on Schwartz's newer shows. cut for spoilers )

While the meds I've been prescribed seem to be working on the issues I've been having, its also put my head in a fog for some reason. Well, just some of the time. Also, one of them does cause dizziness, so I'll occasionally feel slightly nauseated. Actually, that's the one thing I miss about drinking, tha hangovers. Well, not the hangovers, but the hangover cures, which for me is lots of greasy food. Not that I need an excuse for eating tater-tots, a bacon cheeseburger, and a chili dog. But it did kinda make the pounding headache and nausea almost worth it.

More HIMYM commentary: last night's ep kinda has me thinking it'd be fine if Stella is the mother, but the problem with a show like "How I Met Your Mother" is what do they do once you meet her? If she is the mother, then what will the show be about? Then again, Prison Break is still called Prison Break even though its turned into this kinda Alias-Ocean's Eleven hybrid where they're commiting all sorts of capers to take on an evil government conspiracy. But I digress, its possible for her to be the mom, Lucy looks old enough in the present to be collega age in the future, hence her not being around for the story. Then again, unlike the son and daughter listening to Bob Saget, she was already born, and thus would know how Ted met her mother.

Oh, and is it me, or does Stella seem too much like Eliot on Scrubs? Particularly since both roles are doctors. But as I've said before, Sarah Chalke plays Stella as a slightly more sane Eliot, but there are times where you almost forget its a different character. I mean, Lily's not very Willow, and Barney's not very Doogie. Though NPH does play it very close to the way he plays "himself" in the Harold and Kumar movies.

But seguing from HIMYM to the NY is so great plot of last night's ep to talk of NYC, I've said before I'd like to move back there one day, as it, and not generosity, is the greatest city in the world. But there are advantages Atlanta has that it doesn't. The first, being of course, the gun friendliness. I mean, GA is one of the only states you can own a machine gun or an automatic shotgun or what have you (with the proper license, of course) Two, Atlanta is one of the few places in the US where you have fully nude strippers at clubs that serve alcohol. Other places, if you serve alcohol, then the chyx can only be topless, and what's the point of that. I guess I'm a visual guy, so I'd think a topless only place would be a total rip. Of course, there are people who prefer such places better, because for some reason, that thin strip of fabric that serves as a bottom for some reason allows them to get more physical with you when doing a lap dance. TMI, I know.

Oh yeah, the drugs are also causing me to ramble on about ridiculous things, not that I don't do that already.
