Saw Cutting Edge 3 tonight. Could I be any more queer? And is it lamer to have seen all three Cutting Edges, or all 4 Bring It Ons?

It was better than the second one, even if it was basically a rehash of the first, but with the roles reversed- this time, its the guy who no one wants to work with, and the girl's a hockey player, though she did want to be a figure skater when she was a kid, until her family stopped being able to afford lessons. And instead of it being hot rich girl (when she's not running a diner in small NC town and raising her b-ball playing son on her own) and working class guy (when he's not killing civilians and embezzling money from the private security firm he works for) its rich trust find guy (but the nice kind rather than the jerky kind) and cute spunky latina from a hard-working mexican restaurant owning family.

They do bring back CCR from the second one to be their coach. And since she was the daughter of Kate and Doug from the first one, she gets them to bust out the Pamchemko. (wouldn't that move be banned or something because it is so dangerous?) Actually, thinking about it, the dialogue at end of this one was practically a word for word recreation of the first one. And heh, when they started their routine, I was trying to figure out the song they were gonna use as it started, and I quickly discovered it was that awful version of Patrick Swayze's "She's Like The Wind" by Lumidee. Well, just the part done by that Tony Sunshine guy.

Oh, and getting to Moira Kelly, she's apparently from Queens, but I've always thought she had a slightly weird accent in everything she's done. I mean, I'm from Queens, and it doesn't sound like anyone I've heard from there.

I cannot believe I have that stupid song stuck in my head. That is so not Raven! (heh, for some reason, that's one of the funnier Barney-isms I've ever heard him utter)

Had dinner at Bonehead's with the roomie and discussed Primer a bit. Like another movie he recently got on DVD, Gone Baby Gone, its a movie that provokes discussion.
