I am a stabbing robot!
Mar. 9th, 2007 03:16 amWith Fridays being meatless for lent, my menu usually consists of pizza with non-meat toppings, pasta with non-meat based sauces, nachos, and sushi. And as I've said here countless times before, sushi and nachos are two tastes that go great together! Again, its not like you're dipping sushi in nacho cheese, because that's kinda gross! Rather, its like sushi, but with a side of nacho! But given how I'm a card-carrying carnivore (Okay, not really, I have no such card), I'm not too familiar with vegetarian cuisine, so I'm wondering if there are other dishes I'm omitting?
Anyhoo, just watching Conqueror of Shamballa right now. Interesting story, particularly how they tie things to the rise of the Nazis in Germany. And can any true fan of the Big Lebowski hear "nazis" or "nihilists" without thinking/saying aloud "Nihilists?! Fuck me! Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, but at least its an ethos!" And I will say the version of Gluttony in here is actually pretty scary. ( spoiler comments )
Now, just watching DC on the N. Its the "Cinderella Story" ep. It still bugs me that they changed the music for this ep on the DVDs. The original song at the end, Tara Maclean's "Settling" was perfect for that scene. I'm not too keen on the song they replaced it with. Alas, to me it kinda detracts from one of the pivotal scenes for one of the all time greatest OTPs in a teen drama, P/J.
And who conjugates latin verbs under their breath when they're nervous?! Of course, I'm one to talk, I start counting in spanish.
