Damn, it has been a busy day today. Came in, and immediately entered something into one of the servers which should have been done yesterday. I mean, its so easy and takes less than a minute that's there no reason I had to do it myself this morning. I saw it come in yesterday afternoon, and was tempted to do it from home, but thought, its my day off, surely someone will take care of it. But alas, no. What the F. So I continued my drilling from the weekend. And there's still a shitload to do. It looks like all the other people prefer degaussing as opposed to the drill, which I find baffling. I took a break and checked my mail and got stuck for the next two and a half hours working on some more server changes. And then there were firewall issues, so the phone was ringing off the hook about that. And then another big set of changes came, but that'll have to wait until after lunch. I just want to get all of this stuff done with. Just three more hours to go. Then I can hit Oxford an pick up the MTMTE compilation at Oxford and maybe watch some of that OC boxed set I picked up last night. And the season premiere's next week. Alright!

Jeez, there's a lot of people out campaigning and stuff in front of the Student Center. Some guys were handing out flyers and telling me to vote no on something, though I don't know what. They did seem kinda gay though, so maybe they were campaigning against that amendment they're trying to pass here in Georgia banning gay marriage. Which is one of the most retarded things ever (making an amendment to ban gay marriage, not gay marriage!) So, I can support that. I mean, I'm not a political guy, but there are some issues I do feel strongly about. One is gun control. I think itts the wrong solution to the problem. And another is gay marriage. I can't believe, with all the problems going on in the world, that they're actually taking time out to try and ban gay marriage. Are they serious? First off, regardless of your feelings towards homosexuality, it should be none of your business if two people of the same sex get into such a union. Its like, why do you even care, especially if its two people you don't even know? How does it affect you, really? And then you have these ignorant gnuts being all "its contributing to the moral decay of society". Whatever, there are a lot of immoral things in this world, but that's not one of them. I mean, if two people feel a certain way about each other, what should it matter what race/color/creed/gender they are? And how can such a beautiful feeling be immoral?! It does not make cents!

Being quiet and unassuming, I am oft able to blend in the background and listen to people talk and interact as if I were not there. And listening to these conversations, one thing that always has me wondering why people don't punch other people in the face is when someone's talking, and either some other person rudely interrupts and takes over the conversation, or the person being talked too is obviously not listening and just starts a new thing as the other person is talking. I think its one of the biggest insults in the world, because they're basically saying you're not important, your opinion doesn't matter. Or at least that's how I interpret it as. I mean, it seriously burns me up!! I mean, sometimes I just want to say, "Excuse you, this other person was still talking." or "Sorry you're too self-involved to hear what this other person is saying to you".
