Went to Burrito Art w/ Krug, Joseph, and Bill the GMA last night. It was trivia night, so we thought we'd try our hand in that. I guess half the dream team was there, my trivia dream team being myself, Scott, Bill, and JBarkle. Of course, Joe Barkley has always argued, "So what do you bring to the team?" Hey, I know stuff! Of course, anything I know one of the three of them would also know. But its called redundancy! And actually, Joseph is pretty useful. He knows a lot about that sports crap, and he and Bill can talk things out to try and brainstorm and answer.

But Scott wasn't there! He was suppossed to be, but Sato was sick. Heh, the old ball and chain. Instead of hanging with the guys, he's home with his old lady. Just teasing you, boy! It does disturb me greatly that I can no longer count the number of ex-college peeps I know who are married on one hand. And that's with counting Kramer and Galadriel as one unit!

Anyways, we totally kicked everyone else's ass. The final score was us at 120, the next at 96, and third place at 78. Which had us confused, since going into the final round, we had 100, and there were at least three teams in the 96-98 range. And the Q was "When was the abolishment of slavery put in the constitution?" (or something along those lines) a) 1835, b) 1865, c) 1888, or d)1901. The answer is obviously "B". But the way the scores went, the other peeps right behind us must have gotten it wrong. Ah'm skeptical.

Wow, it was nice to be #1. In all the times we played Rock and Roll Trivia at the Star Bar, I think we were only #1 once. Owel, it was fun, hopefully Scott will be able to make it next time.

Cool, will prolly see Bourne Identity tonight with Krug, Bill, Joseph, and their roomie Charlie. Joseph was able to score some free passes (don't bother e-mailing or replying to this, there's none left if anyone was curious) for a preview showing. Was the Run Lola Run chick the person who presented with Matt Damon at the MTV movie awards last Thursday? I assumed so, since they were pairing everyone up from their movies, like they had Affleck with Bill's babysitter. That chick is hot! Too bad Bill was prolly too young to appreciate that.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This one hour lunch break is too tempting. After I'm finished eating, I'll go and kill time at the student center and waste money at the arcade. Mebbe I should start reading a book or something. Anyways, played some Silent Scope EX, and got up to the guy in the cloaked tank and died. Then I played some Sega Strike Fighter. I finally got past the "attack advanced base" level with no problem. But instead of choosing Scramble, I picked up "back up request", where they launch you into the soup in the middle of a bunch of Mig-29s or Su-27s or something. I did way better on this one than scramble, which is neat considering I suck at dogfighting. You got a bunch of big cumbersome things that need attacking like slow prop-engined bombers or big naval ships or buildings, I'm your man. But this air to air stuff I suck at. Or mebbe not. I managed to wax 4 guys and was weaving around trying to take out the last guy when I took a missile from behind. But I was surprised that I did that well.

Remember this entry? Well, the results finally came in (yeah, a while ago, I'm just slow in posting them). See them here.

Anyhoo, here's the ten I voted for back then, and how they stacked up:

Katie Holmes: #32
Marla Sokoloff: not ranked
Katherine Heigl: #69
Britney Spears: #2
Sarah Michelle Gellar: #9
Jessica Alba: #6
Rachael Leigh Cook: not ranked
Jennifer Love Hewitt: #7
Kirsten Dunst: #43
Jennifer Garner: #54

Others I put in an alternate version of the ballot were Eliza Dushku (#76), Zhang Ziyi (#91), and Kristin Kreuk (#71). I am little surprised that Lana Lang made it. I mean, I think she's a total hottie, but she is quite new.

(And yeah, I just made a similar entry to gtg, so what?)

Oh, according to Scott, its Dog Bone John's berf-day. Scott's supposed to call him. P.S., I owe him a punch in the stomach.

Ick, with the CSC entrance being right next to the building entrance, we get these bugs flying in. I was looking at one of the unused mousepads earlier this afternoon and wondering, what the hell is that clumpy thing on top of it? It turns out it was a dead fly! But the mousepad was black so you couldn't tell via a cursory inspection. Then just now there was another fly on my desk, so I grabbed a post-its note pad and smashed it. It left an ugly stain. I hate bugs.
