volunteer work

It looks like summer will get somewhat busy in July and August. They were looking for volunteers for the upcoming FASET sessions, to work some Sundays. I said I'd prolly be available. And no, I'm not doing that so I can scope out all the incoming freshman hottie chyx. No, really! Its not like I have all that much to do on a Sunday, and I'm on campus anyways for church and its not like I live that far away. I mean, checking out mad cute froshies? Be serious! That's something, the old, immature me would do! I'm just trying to help usher in a new generation of students into my beloved alma mater!

Obviously, I made it back all right from work yesterday since I've made an entry since then. Anyhoo, bumped into Todd on my way home yesterday and asked how the trip to the Pony went. He says there's a hot new girl there. Intriguing. Went home and passed out on the couch for half an hour, then watched Buffy re-runs on F/X. Krug came home eventually and made the lasagna with sausage, which was quite good. Have I mentioned how neat it is to have a roomie who cooks back? Actually watched Finding Forrester after dinner. I didn't realize it had Anna Paquin in it. She's cute. Jeez, and I watched Cast Away the night before. Lame-ass movies, but at least I can say I saw them now.

I've actually had trouble sleeping these past two nights. Sunday night was awful. Last night wasn't so bad. Except I overslept half an hour. I looked at my alarm clock this morning and saw it was 715. Damn. I was thankfully able to get ready and make it to work on time, but I had to skip shaving. And I really need to shave soon. Its been a pretty quiet morning so far. I think that jerky guy is a little too happy with the new girl in "E". I mean, she is pretty cute. I will feel kinda ill if she is younger than me, especially since she's not a co-op or SA. Then again I guess GMA and phatjoe are at least two peeps who are a couple of years younger than me here.
