Even more impossible mode Superhot vids.
Jump impossible mode:
An almost perfect run- I freaking missed the pistol toss on the guy coming down the hallway. I mean, I managed to get close enough to punch him and take his gun, but still disappointing that I didn't get it right on the first try.
Shots impossible mode:
Honestly, the fact that you only get one shot per gun makes this easier since you know off the bat you're doing the pistol toss to stun, grab their pistol, shoot, repeat on the next guy.
Desp impossible mode:
As I said in a previous post, the hardest part is after you take out the bartender with his own shotgun. Annoyingly, I toss the empty shotgun at the pistol guy, hoping to grab his pistol, but its nowhere to be found. Which I guess is a good thing, because if I had that pistol, I woulda shot the guy and then try to turn around to face the three guys, which in previous attempts gets me shot by one of them.
Since I have no gun, I'm forced to drop down, melee the guy and duck into the back room, funneling those guys into a nice bottleneck. Of course, despite that, I make mistake after mistake, its honestly luck that I beat it. First, I grab the bottle to toss and stun the guy in the lead so I can have time to grab the bat and finish him off, but as you can see, I freaking miss, breaking it on the corner of the wall. Luckily, I still manage to make it to the bat and kill him before he shoots me.
I toss the bat at the second guy to make him drop his gun before he can shoot, then I grab the first guy's flying gun, but somehow miss (or the bullet is stopped by the exploding bat shrapnel) the second guy. On instinct I toss the gun at the shotgun guy to make him drop his shotgun, and since second guy is still stunned from the bat toss, I manage to melee him and then grab the shotgun to take the last guy out. Its all very ugly, but I still love the fact that despite the mistakes, there was still a whole rhythm to it.
Break In impossible mode:
As I started playing this level, I quickly came to the realization that my normal strategy on this level of tossing bat at first guy, taking his gun, shooting him, charging out the door, shooting rushing unarmed guy, then tossing gun at the pistol guy to stun and take his gun to shoot him wasn't going to fly, because I only had one bullet.
The problem was I could toss the pistol at pistol guy as I came out to get him off my back, but since its impossible mode, I would need to hit unarmed guy 5 times to kill him, at which point pistol guy would have come out of stun, grabbed his gun, and shot me.
Knowing there's a katana behind the window ahead of me, I decided to try something new. I tossed pistol at pistol guy, punched unarmed guy to temporarily stun him, jumped on the shelf, punched the window to get to the katana, sliced up those two guys.
At this point, I got lucky with the draws- guys appear from each of the three doors, with any of the possible weapons, and this run, no one got anything better than a pistol. Though it did help that my shots were accurate. I was in the zone, every katana toss and pistol shot landed, the only time I missed anything was tossing the fireplace poker at the dude in the lab. But I got him when it counted once I had a pistol in my hand.
