geebsA few more Superhot hard mode vids.
The train station:
I don't know if its because the previous few times I'd played this level was for the various gimmick challenges and wasn't able to shoot, but normally I'd have to use the advertisement board in front of the first assault rifle to block his shots while I got close and then dodge rifle fire until I was close enough to get the gun from him and shoot him with it. So it was weird this time around that I could just shoot him with one of the pistols I got off one of his buddies.
But yeah, also of all the times I've played this level, not sure why I never thought ofhotswitching into pistol guy, jumping onto the barrier to punch assault rifle guy and grab the rifle to finish him and the last two guys off. EDIT:Rewatching this vid at 0.25x, that's not what exactly happened. i threw the pistol at assault rifle guy first before hotswitching into pistol guy. THEN I hopped on top of the barrier to grab the rifle and take the last three guys out.
Also, I must've been in zen mode here, because this is the precisest I've been ever been with the assault rifle.
The train:
So, once you drop into the train car, you're always hotswitching into one of those guys at the end. Depending on the mode, I either kill the center guy and then hotswitch into one of the guys in the side and take out the other guy, or if I have no way of killing the center guy from across the way, hotswitch and then take him and other guy out. But for some reason, this is the first time I've grabbed the assault rifle and used it.
I guess maybe its because it sometimes gets shredded by the shotgun blast from that first shotgun you grab before you drop down. Or when I hotswitch into one of the shotgun guys, I immediately punch the other shotgun guy and grab his shotgun, forgetting all about the assault rifle on the ground. So I use it against the guys who appear on the other end, but since its a shotgun, it doesn't have great range, and I end up charging up to them. Grabbing the rifle, I can take out other shotgun guy and the two guys who appear from where I am, and then just turn around and deal with the final guy.
But yeah, look how ugly my shooting with the rifle is compared to the first vid. I basically just spray all over the place, its a miracle I managed to take both the guys at the end out.
