PLL- Okay, the series finale was hilarious! So they confirmed Spencer has a twin Alex Drake, who was indeed the one with Wren at the airport, and was looking at the Hastings family album that one time, and when Toby was leaving town with Yvonne and asked for one last kiss. Which I think I was definitely suspicious that was a Spencer twin for the first, and guessed at the latter two.
But what totally cracked me up was when they finally showed her, and she had an English accent. So turns out Mary popped out another kid after Spencer was picked up. The doctor made a deal with Mary and Alex was sent to rich British parents. Only Alex was a troubled child, and so her parents threw her back in an orphanage. Until she ran away and eventually met Wren while tending bar, who was all, holy crap, you look like Spencer. He introduced her to Charlotte, who had just met Dunhill, and the four of them became fast friends. Until Charlotte went back to Rosewood to fuck with the liars and got her ass killed by Mona.
Then we knew what happened after that- Dunhill found Mary Drake and went for a petty money scam. But Alex ended up getting all jealous of Spencer and wanting her life. Thus she spends the finale trying to replace her. (Oh, and the father of Em's baby is Wren. Also, Wren is dead, and Alex turned his ashes into a gem she wears around her neck)
Too bad for her, Jenna, being aware of the existence of a third Drake child, figures out Spencer is really her twin, and warns Toby. Mona, who had been co-opted onto AD's team a year earlier (Oh, yeah, there was a one year time jump between this ep and last), was only biding her time to beat AD. And when she sees the Liars have figured it out, she makes her move and betrays Alex.
So ha, the Liars and Toby arrive at where Alex had imprisoned Spencer and Ezra (underneath the house Toby built) for the most cliche showdown ever. You know, where the twins are wrestling for a weapon, and then the rest of the good guys show up and don't know which one to shoot. But Toby figures out who's who, and they arrest her.
So, Aria and Ezra get married and are going to adopt (as Aria finds out she is barren), Hanna's preggers, Emison is engaged, and I guess Spencer and Toby are going to figure things out? Oh, and Mona moved to Paris, where she is apparently keeping Mary and Alex in a secret room as her prisoners. Which would have been a great place to end.
But nope, they go for the repeating cycle thing, with Addison going missing. Oh, and Addison's group of Liars 2.0 includes Maya's niece, because they felt the need to bring that random connection in.
Izombie- Interesting season finale! So in the aftermath of the bombing, Major decides he has nothing, and has Logan infect him again so he can rejoin Fillmore Graves. And OMG, I writing that out now, I just fucking got that joke. To be fair though, I couldn't remember the name for most of this season. Though had I known it was a play on words, it woulda been way easy to remember.
So Liv and Clive think Logan killed CDC lady because she stumbled on his plan- the plane was infected by a citronella collar his dog was wearing, only instead of releasing citronella, it released deadly Avian flu.
Anyways, Logan is of course, a red herring, and the real villain is Carey, the mother of that one girl who's friends with the daughter of the guy who killed the dominatrix. Logan figures out after Clive and Liv tell him they're on to him, because it wasn't his dog at that point, Carey had gotten it for him as a welcome home present.
Carey reveals she and a number of zombies in FG think his plan is stupid, and Zombie Island would've gotten them all killed, so she went with plan B, infect everyone with Avian flu so people would be dropping like flies, providing them with a big supply of brains. She tries to stage a coup, but Logan is smarter and faster, and kills her and her cronies. Just in time for Clive and Liv to arrive. Since Carey ordered the death of that one lady and her son (in order to inflame zombies in FG to her side), Clive gets closure.
Anyways, with that done, Clive has to deal with Boz picking up Blaine's man in a raid when he was picking up exotic brains. She tells Clive she's sick of the BS, because she knows there's a connection since the guy used to be Clive's informant, and has connections to Blaine and Major. So, Clive comes clean about the zombie secret.
Meanwhile, everyone's scared of the flu, so everyone's getting vaccinated. And so Liv and co think, crisis averted! Only they were wrong about plan B. It wasn't to kill a bunch of people. It was to infect a bunch of people, as the vaccine had been tainted with zombie blood. So everyone who took the vaccine is now a zombie.
Liv tells Johnny Frost, who had gotten the vaccine, and gets him to announce to all of Seattle the bad news. Needless to say, its a mess. Logan shows up with a manifesto claiming Seattle as a zombie safe haven. Now, they'll stay there if people in the rest of the country are willing to donate their brains upon death. I think he said 1 in 10 people doing this would keep the zombies of Seattle well fed, and not preying upon the rest of the country. Both Frost and Logan make it clear in their broadcasts that zombies are just people, only with a disease.
Logan takes it one step further and says zombies don't have to deal with disease and all that, so it can be a pretty good deal. This warning comes too late for Boz, who got the vaccine just as Clive got the warning. But it seems like they're together and going to deal with it.
Anyways, there's a nice little flipping of the scripts at the end, where FG is distributing brains to the Seattle undead, and rioting humans show up ready to kill them. So Justin and Major are forced to gun them down. And its funny, because it goes just like you'd seen in other zombie media, only the trained military guys are the zombies, and the rampaging hordes are normal humans.
In the end, Ravi had found the remnants of tainted Utonium vials in CDC ladies possessions. There were only trace amounts, but Ravi was able to manufacture a possible vaccine. He takes it, and the ep ends with him convincing Liv to zombify him to see if it works.
