Great News- I had initially passed on this because my Tuesday schedule is currently full. But clevemire mentioned it had a 30 Rock feel, so I decided to catch up on Hulu. And the comparisons are apt. I mean, I dunno anything about filming and lighting and all that jazz, but the look even matches 30 Rock. And the comedy is similar as well. So honestly, this just feels like 30 Rock, but with different people. Glad I checked it out, I've been enjoying it.
iZombie- Heh, seriously, show? Like since they put it out there, I assume he's actually gonna end up being fine. So Justin likes Liz, and the feeling seems to be mutual. Her friends bring up the fact that most of her bfs end up dead. I mean, technically Major did die, turn into a zombie, and get better. But she has at least two zombie bfs who end up getting killed.
So while those redneck conspiracy nuts accidentally run Justin over and have clear footage of him chasing them in zombie mode, thus outing him as a zombie, I presume they won't end up having him die unless they want to give Liv a complex.
Its interesting to find out what happened to the cure. Don E says its not him, because he actually had multiple buyers for the cure, so if he had the cure, he would have made serious bank already. Like, I'm not sure he would even have to hide it. Like if he did steal it and sell it, what could they do to him? Its not like they can arrest him for theft. Like what are they going to claim he stole? It would expose the zombie community.
They finally bring up the fact that Justin knows about the cure, because he figured out Major was human again. But he never told the bosses. I still don't think its Blaine, because honestly, he too busy moping, and dealing with Don E forcing him out of his business, and apparently his father sending someone to kill him to have anything to do with it.
Like the only way I'd think he'd be involved is if the show is trying to do a scorpion and the frog thing with him, and he actually did steal it and is sitting on it because he can't help himself.
I guess there's one more option- Natalie is the only other person who knows about the sure. She wasn't in the best of situations, so its possible the cure was discovered on her and whoever find out stole the rest of the cure.
And interesting, its cool to see the cases of the week not be just cases of the week. So Peyton is prosecuting the dominatrix murder case. When all of a sudden some high priced lawyer shows up, has the guy make a deal with Peyton for the full charges, but won't produce the memory card. And lo and behold, the guy ends up killing himself.
Peyton feels guilty about asking (well, she hasn't asked Liv yet), but she's hoping the team can look into the case. They're a little worried though since the guy was mentally ill and not only do they want Liv to consume his brain. but to do so after its soaked in the "potent juice".
