iZombie- A ha! Or wait, did the audience know that already? I wasn't sure if we knew for sure Blaine was faking, or it was hinted at heavily, but the audience couldn't be sure one way or the other?
Don E tells Ravi Blaine is totally faking, who tells Peyton, who tricks Blaine into admitting the truth, that he had some momentary memory loss, but after a couple of days was fine.
I feel really sad for Liv though. She was all egg-cited once they found out the cure was viable, only for her hopes to be dashed when they return to the morgue and find out its been stolen. And then Ravi remembered he gave Major an extra vial of the cure. So they excitedly wait for Major to return, only for Liv to be crushed again when he says he gave it away to that one girl.
Anyways, I think they're missing someone in their suspect pool. Especially since the show seemed to have glossed over it. Like they suspect Blaine, but it can't be him, because he's trying to whip up... something (the cure?), using the print out Liv forgot to pick up from Peyton's. Its possible its also Don E, since he has a client will to pay 100K for the cure.
But like I said, there's one person outside their circle who knows about the cure- that fellow soldier of Major's. Like they had him find out, but then don't delve into that, which was weird, because that would be a really big deal for a zombie like him to find out. And, he could have told the company about it.
So yeah, since Blaine and Don E are too obvious, I think its going to be that guy or the PMC ultimately behind the theft, because they have a vested interest in a cure. Or heh, they could go really crazy with the twist, and have it by Clive, who stole it so he would't lose Liv's abilities. I mean, he jokes, but she really is the golden goose and it would be hilarious if they did some crazy villain twist where he did it so she could continue to help him solve cases.
