TV commentary:

NCIS- Weird, a Jimmy-centric ep. Not that that's a bad thing, just unexpected. Interesting, so he's been hiding the fact that he's a full doctor and passed the medical examiners exam from the team because he didn't want to change the dynamic? Interesting, Ducky's getting up there in age, wonder if this will be the transition for him to retire now that Jimmy is fully qualified to take over?

Heh, not to be nitpicky, but sure, the road-rager was crazy and prolly would've went after them no matter where they stopped. But given the kid was so quick to blame himself, they're lucky he didn't think, "Well, my father wouldn't have blown that stop sign if he weren't arguing with me!"

Bones- Weird, they really are digging back into continuity for this final season. But as soon as they showed the X-ray I was definitely thinking, was it the guy from that story Booth told Brennan way back possibly as far as second season that he shot at the guy's kid's birthday party? That was apparently back in 1995, so the kid would be at least in his 20s by now, so he totally could be the person who grabbed Aldo.

Which, that seemed like a total random person they know to have die. Like when they I saw in the previews that someone from Booth and Bones were investigating the murder of "someone from their past", Aldo wasn't even close to being on that list, mostly because I forgot about him. But yeah, its also weird, because maybe I'm not remembering well, but the whole heroin addiction thing seems out of nowhere.

I wonder if the warlord's son (presumably) will be the final big bad of the show, somehow finding out Booth was the sniper and enacting some elaborate episode-spanning revenge?

Legends of Tomorrow- Heh, could they kiss any more ass in this ep? It was basically a love letter to George Lucas. So the Legends find Rip (who apparently lost his memory, either accidentally or purposely while trying to hide in the timeline with a piece of the spear of destiny), and who's his production assistant? George Lucas. George gets winged in the ensuing chaos, so it apparently causes him to quit film school, and Star Wars and Indy never get made.

As such, Ray never become an inventor and Nate never becomes an archeologist. Now, obviously Amaya doesn't know what those movies are, but did Sara not know because she too had forgotten about them due to the timeline change, or was she just unfamiliar? I guess it had to be the former, because those movies are so iconic that one would have to be at least aware of their existence.

They fix the timeline thankfully, because a world without those two movies just seems insane. They get back the device that was supposed to point the Legion to the spear of destiny (heh, I'm amused that Sara was using the "Holy Lance" moniker since that's her last name), as well as Rip's portion of the spear. But, the Legion managed to capture Rip, and are set to torture him, which is unfortunate because he really doesn't remember anything, so he has nothing to tell.

Other stuff, so Stein overhears Mick talking to himself, and the latter admits he's seeing Len. So, he asks the doc to help him. Stein scans him and finds a chip, which Mick informs him was placed there by the time masters when he was Chronos. Lest you think he has a Chip!Snart, when Martin removes the chip, he informs Rory it wasn't working anyways, so it couldn't have caused the visions. Mick prolly just missed his friend and this is his way of coping.
