TV commentary:

Castle- Ah'm skeptical! No way people would actually think Castle is some English as a second language French Canadian. He actually did the freaking "How you say?" thing, which is the pinnacle of fake foreigner-ism!

Also, its weird they're touching upon his missing time again. I thought that was all resolved already!

Better Call Saul- Heh, its funny what I have a problem with and what I don't. Like I had ways of justifying in mind how making that video last week isn't necessarily faking evidence depending on how he said things to the cops. And I didn't think his shenanigans following the senior citizens around was that bad. But I did think it was incredibly stupid to put forth that commercial without checking with the bossman in charge. Maybe because it was breaking the rules rather than bending it or doing clever word play or making it seem right from a certain point of view.

I guess maybe its because I thought, "You said I was in charge of the 'getting clients' division" was an extremly lazy justification. If he wanted to skate it by Ed Begley Jr, he shoulda tried a little harder.

Interesting though, wonder if Mike's daughter in law is crazy or not. He was staking out the neighborhood, so you think he would have heard or saw something.

Gotham- What have they done to Jim Gordon? I mean, it was ridiculous he murdered a guy before the break, now he's lying under oath about it? Whatever.

Also, I'm glad Tabitha Galavan is still around, I'm not pleased they just have her hitching her wagon to Butch. I mean, she's prolly playing him, but I think she can be a bad-ass on her own without having to pretend to be second to some more powerful seeming man.

But this ep is the introduction of Gotham's version of Mr Freeze. And hey, Nora Fries is played by, well Nora from Being Human.

Its also the introduction of Hugo Strange. Which, heh, I guess they liked Dr Huang's psychiatrist-ness on SVU that they decided to have him play Gotham's most famous one? Though having him bald and with that beard is a little ridiculous.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend- Okay, heh, that is actually kinda hilarious! So how did the Trent thing end up working out for Rebecca? Because Paula didn't pick him out totally at random- she did pick out someone who had gone to school with Rebecca to make the story work. Only the guy they pick just happened to be a guy who had seen Rebecca once during Freshman orientation and was obsessed with her. On any other show, this guy would be a serial killer and Rebecca should be frightened for her life.

But since its this show, he's giving her a taste of her crazy by blackmailing her into being his fake girlfriend lest he tells the others the truth she made everything up.

Its funny, because even though Rebecca is kinda crazy, and I still say her desire for Josh is hiding deeper mental issues, you can't help but root for her. Its interesting that Audra is not the opposite of Rebecca- they're exactly the same, loser outcasts. They could've been friends. But Rebecca was just smarter, and Audra didn't want to be second place.

Alas, they actually end up losing the case, which is interesting, because despite all her craziness, she can afford wild distractions in her life because she's that good at her job. It seemed like she bit off more than she can chew this time though. Well, that's not the right way to put it. She actually presented a incredibly strong case. Its jut unfortunate that while her star witness, who had all the research proving wrong doing by the company, also happened to be schizophrenic.

And unfortunately, due to mental illness bias, his testimony is rendered null. Which is kinda bullshit- because Audra didn't say he made that stuff up. She verified his credentials and his former employment are true, but her only other question is how long he'd been a diagnosed schizophrenic. She didn't even ask if this stuff was a figment of his imagination, she just said he was mentally ill and rested her case.

Trent almost saves the day by presenting with Rebecca with e-mails proving Greater Water was guilty of wrongdoing, but he got the e-mails illegally. Paula convinces Rebecca not to use it. Rebecca won't resort to doing something illegal to win.

So, she tries to make a case for the witness not being discounted just because he's mentally ill when his proof is still sound. But alas, it doesn't work. However, Josh does not lose respect for Rebecca like she was worried. Indeed, all the plaintiffs cheer Rebecca for at least giving them a voice.

Also, she wishes Audra well, possibly because she sees their similarities. Audra is all happy she beat Rebecca at something, saying she's happy, "This is what happy feels like!" Which is what Rebecca was saying when she was starting to break down back in NY. So is Audra really happy because she got what she finally wanted, or is it a false happiness, and like Rebecca back in NY, is just trying to convince herself she's happy?

But, leaking the e-mails to the press isn't judicial misconduct. So, in the end Greater City Water is exposed.

Other stuff, Daryl and White Josh get together for real. Daryl wasn't ready at first, still being in the closet and all, but he quickly gets over it. (well "quickly" as in by the end of the ep as opposed to drawing it out over a few eps) And aw, when Daryl comes out and says he likes White Josh and some guy says he's out of his league, White Josh says he looks like Tom Selleck.

Also, Heather finally realizes Greg loves Rebecca, so he tells him to go after her. Too bad after the case, Josh and Rebecca end up kissing! Paula apologizes saying he's a nice guy, but he has to see they're meant to be!
