Faking It- Hmm, some interesting developments in this ep. So I guess Farrah really was having an affair with her ex-husband. But aw, Lauren decides to keep mum in the end because she does like their little family and doesn't want to break it up. Uh oh, though- Amy's dad has a rep for blowing into town, getting Amy's hopes up, and leaving. Which is why Karma hates him, for what he does to his daughter. And she's been spending time with him all week, seemingly setting herself up for heartbreak.
But the events of this ep make her finally call her dad out on his behavior since he neglected to mention during all their time together that he was leaving for Moscow that very night. However, her dad calls his boss and tells them to get someone else, because he's staying in Austin. Which complicates things. Like Lauren hasn't forgiven Farrah, but she doesn't want to break up the family. And its easy to do that if Amy's dad is no longer in the picture. But now that he's sticking around, what will happen with that?
And hey, Shane finally apologized for outing Duke. Duke accepted his apology, but he's still leaving. It sucks for Shane, but its a lesson he needed to learn.
We also find out why Liam's grandpa-father approached Karma. He tried to pay her off 250K to stay away from Liam. Even though they basically broke up, it leads to more drama, because apparently Liam turned Seetah down. And Karma has been considering the check for a week. I mean, I can see his point about not giving it a second thought on turning it down if it was to stay away from Amy. But he hurt her, which combined with her family's financial woes, its not surprising the decision is giving her pause.
