TV commentary:
White Collar- Dang. So Rachel helps out the FBI, pointing them in the direction of who took Neal. So he sees her one last time after he gets out of it, so she gets to apologize to him and say goodbye. Only he didn't realize it was a goodbye until it was too late- she commits suicide by cop. That's kinda disappointing. I wonder if we'll ever see Sara or Alex or even Kate in this final season. I mean, I always figured they killed Kate off in such a way that it would be easy to have faked her death. Or is Alexandra Daddario too famous for this show now? It seems like things just didn't work out with Sara, but whatever happened to Alex?
I'm also a little skeptical about this whole Pink Panthers thing. Neal drops his name, telling them to look him up. So wouldn't they know of his situation with the FBI? And thus wouldn't they be extremely distrustful. Also, the guy who kidnapped Neal, I think he's kidding himself if he thought they would let him in. I mean, first he was going to let Rachel steal the diamond and take credit, while giving her an escape from NY (only that was a lie, he was going to kill her, too bad Neal didn't get to tell her capturing her probably saved her life), then he gets Neal to do all the work the second time around.
If they really were a crew of super thieves, you'd think they could tell he didn't do shit, and it would've been Rachel or Neal who were the real thieves. So why would they ever let him in?
Gracepoint- Ha! That's hilarious! Well, not the Jack stuff, that was pretty damn tragic. Turns out the statch conviction was because he was dating an underage girl when he was in his late 30s/early 40s and her dad got pissed. And he ended up marrying her. But everyone just assumed because he was always hanging around with boys, he was a pederast.
Turns out, he also lost his son tragically when he was just a boy. So the Wildlife club was his way of being close to his son again. Anyways, it seems like he was dealing with the rumors of his pedophilia, but once the news runs with the story about his dead son, he flips out and kills himself by walking into the ocean.
But yeah, the hilarious part was Emmett hitting on English Innkeeper chick and she's all, "NO!" at first he's hurt because he thought he misread the situation and is totally disgusted with him, but heh, its a little worse, she thinks he's cute, but she's worried he might keel over and die or something. Which is pretty embarrassing. Though to be fair, maybe she's worried her having sex is bad luck as well, since the last time she did it, the guy she did it with's son died. So maybe she doesn't want to tempt fate since Emmett has a condition.
And its probably karma. So the CSI tech totally hits on Ellie, knowing she's happily married, but he doesn't care. But when Ellie tells Emmett about it, saying it made her feel uncomfortable, he cracks jokes. Like isn't that kinda sexual harassment? A co-worker makes an unwanted advance that makes her feel uncomfortable, she tells her superior, and he makes sex jokes about it?!
