TV commentary:
Gracepoint- You know, I never understood that mentality. So Mark is taken into custody because he won't account for his whereabout on the night his son was killed. He tries to get his employee to cover for him but they break that alibi real quick. Eventually, Chloe gets her boss to tell the truth- that she was effing Mark. Which, interesting that she knew that, considering that Mark wouldn't fess up because he didn't want his family to find out he was stepping out.
But yeah, its like, he doesn't want his wife to know he's cheating, so he's willing to be suspected of his own son's murder! I mean, I guess he's innocent, so he figured he would be exonerated with his family none the wiser before the information came out? Ha though, the whole situation makes him feel awful though because the first time he cheats, his son gets murdered.
It was enough to end the nascent affair- until he notices his wife thinks he might have actually killed their son. And so it looks like its back on. We do get some back story on them- we knew they had Chloe in HS, but apparently him knocking her up derailed her life.
And I guess we get some more hints on Emmett's mysterious case that caused him to flee to Gracepoint. From what Renee said about courtroom verdicts, I'm guessing they had a killer, but there was a screw up in the case that caused them to go free?
Bones- Wait, since when is Christine all walking and talking? I mean, I guess there were some time jumps when Bones was on the run after Pelant framed her, and then later when Booth was in jail, but it seems like its a little early. Also, they're considering kindergartens, and Angela and Hodgins have their own conversations all, "When Michael Vincent goes to school". But isn't their son a year or so older than Christine? So shouldn't they have done all that already?
And ha, so in the ep, some dude gets catfished, and he and the girl who's images were used meet and they totally hit it off anyways? So its all good for him. But didn't his ex totally get screwed? So not only did the victim make this fake girl up to break them up, she kills their boss in revenge, and he ends up with that one girl for real anyways?
