geebsYou know, I had seen Monty Oum post stuff about RWBY on his deviantart page, but I had thought it was an upcoming project, I didn't know it had been on Rooster Teeth since last July! So, I caught up on that. Pretty cool series, and I like the soundtrack.
TV commentary:
Lost Girl- Are you friggin serious?! They killed Hale, right after he proposed to Kenzi!? I mean, they did seem to foreshadow something coming up with him, when his ears were bleeding after that one singer fae lady sang her death song. Like he acted like he was okay, and I thought maybe it just really hurt a lot and he played it off at first, but then the look he had on his face made it look like he was hiding something bigger.
And then friggin Kenzi had to go on and be all, "We have all the time in the world!" Its like thanks for signing his death warrant! Anyways, Massimo is still alive, thanks to that twig Kenzi stole for him a while ago, just to twist the knife even further, that if she hadn't done that, he wouldn't be around to kill Hale. So Hale ends up saving Kenzi from being killed by Massimo, and thinks he kills him with a siren scream. But then his own ears start bleeding, and he's temporarily deaf (possibly an after effect of that thing from that earlier ep?) so he misses Massimo come back to life because of the magic twig, and gets impaled. And then Massimo, satisfied that he's gotten adequate revenge on Kenzi, leaves her be. Which seems pretty dumb, because how dead is he when her friends find out Hale is dead?
I mean, Bo will want revenge for Kenzi, but even beyond that, Dyson is Hale's best friend! Like he's not going to be really angry? And you can bet Trick would do something about this!
But yeah, just to make everything even more horrible, Bo happens upon the scene, and Kenzi begs her to resurrect Hale like she did Dyson. But that time, there were more people with chi to absorb for her to resurrect Dyson. She can't bring Hale back without killing Kenzi, and while she does care about Hale, Kenzi is her best friend, she's not going to kill Kenzi to bring Hale back to life, even if Kenzi says she will never forgive her if she doesn't!
Owel, other big stuff- when Tamsin finally sees what Raynor looks like, she's totally confused, because that's not the same guy who set her to find Bo. Interesting, who is Raynor then, and who is the guy who wanted her to find Bo?
