Fringe- I don't think Peter and Olivia are thinking things out. They're all, "Ah, so if we stop the observers from evolving, they won't invade and Etta will still be alive. Of course, if there are no Observers, then there's no one to distract Walternate from seeing his cure actually worked, and Walter wouldn't have traveled to the other side to bring Peter over, and there wouldn't be a Fringe. And even if the Observer didn't distract Walternate and he missed the cure anyways for some other reason and Walter still went there, then there wouldn't bee an observer to save them as they fell trough the lake when they returned. In either case, no Peter, no Olivia meeting Peter, no Henrietta!
OUAT- Wow, Mulan's hair looks gorgeous in this one, its so silky! I don't know what Jamie Chung between filming, but I love how she looks in this. Also, its amusing to see she and Belle were hanging out pre-Storybrooke. And it was Belle who got Philip onto Mulan's radar by breaking the curse on that "monster". Heh, its too bad this is ABC/Disney. So, they're prolly going to do a Mulan/Aurora/Philip triangle. As I said before, I'd rather see Mulan and Aurora get together.
And heh, while I'm glad they didn't drag out the Archie being "dead" storyline too long, how awkard is it that Emma just gave Pongo to Henry? Its like, hey, you can have your dead friend's dog. But now Archie is back! So will Henry have to give back the dog?
And people need to calm their tits! I mean, it sucks Belle lost her memory, and even though Rumple claims the curse means she's lost it forever, its a world of magic, forever doesn't mean a whole lot. I'm sure they'll find some way to restore her! (They better!)
Lost Girl- Interesting, so Dyson has a new partner. A dark fae, as the elders thought it would build bridges to have a dark and light fae work together. She's played by the chick who was Black Canary on the Birds of Prey TV show (or Sam's sister on Flashpoint) And interesting, so the police thinks Hale left because he won powerball?
ME blather- So finished up Samara's loyalty mission. I did the whole thing where I saved right before the confrontation in Morinth's apartment. Then I chose to side with Morinth the first time so I could unlock dominate as a bonus power. Then I just reloaded and stuck with Samara. I actually like Morinth, but there is just no way my paragon Shepard would ever side with her.
They prolly shouldn't had you choose between Samara and Morinth after you'd already worked with Samara for that long. You obviously show trust in her, since you're willing to use yourself as bait against her serial killer daughter. I mean, not only do you go in unarmed, you know for a fact Morinth can control minds. Why the hell would you change your mind and pick Morinth?
Also, given you can choose to save Morinth, even when going the Paragon path is a little silly. I mean, they kinda try to say Morinth didn't choose to have this genetic condition, where she had no choice but to either live in seclusion or die (which is especially worse for Asari since they live for so long) and Samara is kinda a unwavering zealot. They could played up the whole forced down the evil path with Morinth and the unbending the point of folly with Samara, then making a choice between the two makes sense. But even then, even if you were a renegade, given you were working with Samara already, there's nothing compelling to pick Morinth over her. I guess maybe the fact that Samara would be troublesome for a renegade type, and they might not want such a zealot with them, since Samara is prolly waiting for the opportunity to kill them and bring them to justice once the Collector threat is taken care of.
But I digress. There are prolly better bonus powers out there than dominate, particularly for soldiers. I mean, its prolly wiser to pick a power that would increase my combat capacity, but I've always like dominate/mind control. All I'm using it for right now is to mesmerize heavily armed enemies to have them attack their allies. And its prolly quicker just to kill them. Though I suppose it might be handier when I evolve it into the group version.
I also did finally recruit Tali. I actually jacked up the difficulty since you had to be on at least hardcore to get the geth pulse rifle. But I made it through. I've already gotten involved with Miranda, which Jack is pissed off about, apparently I accidentally lead her on at some point. But, it doesn't look like I've lost her loyalty. She does curse me out and tells me to go back to that "Cerberus bitch" whenever I talk to her now. But this game, they make it seem like Tali is totally crushing on you, which makes her hard to deny. And I don't think its that surprising for Tali to have a thing for Shepard. He's treated her so nicely despite how much her people are looked down upon, and he's a big G-D hero!
