Vampire Diaries- Dwelling on the episode some more, I'm like 90% sure the season will end with Elena becoming a vampire. Since Alaric's life force is tied to hers, unless they desiccate him too (and they can't desiccate everyone!) he's out there and unstoppable. So, stopping him will probably involve Elena dying. Well, they'll prolly have Bonnie try to figure out some way to sever the link, but it won't work, and they'll end up having to do something that involves Elena's death.
But yeah, the conversation Damon and Stefan had at the end was total foreshadowing. They were all whoever she chooses, the other stays away until she dies. Which is problem solved for the brothers. However, if she became immortal, then they're effed because they can't do that, since she'll be around for much longer. Of course, one of them could just go back with Kat. But I digress. I had said last post that if she really wanted to keep both brothers around, she'd pick Stefan. Because Damon's a glutton for punishment. He'd be angry and act out for a while, but the only person Damon loves more than Elena is Stefan. He's said before that Stefan is the one Elena deserves, and Stefan is the one of them that deserves her. So he'd accept them being together, and drown his sorrows in booze and loose women, but dropping everything at the drop of a hat if Elena needed him. I mean, Stefan would do anything for Elena too even if she chose Damon. The difference is, Stefan would be off who knows where, occasionally showing up to watch from the shadows. Damon on the other hand would still be in the thick of it, just acting like an a-hole and making snide remarks to them.
Which makes me think Elena's leaning towards Damon- because she knows everything I just mentioned. So when she says she doesn't want to lose either of them, she really means she doesn't want to lose Stefan. When she was with Stefan they couldn't get rid of Damon, so what would change if she picked Stefan?
Secret Circle- What the?! You know, I assumed when the Circle's parents had them, they were young, but like 18-20 young, not still in friggin HS young! But according to last night's ep, they were all still in high school! So one, how old were Nick and Jake's parents when they had Jake then?! Because it seemed in the boat fire flashback, Jake was maybe 3 or 4. So if their parents were all seniors when the circle was born, did they have Jake when they were 12?!
And secondly, they live in a small town. I would think if 6 girls in the senior class got knocked up at around the same time, that's a pretty big friggin deal. I think even in the rural areas or inner city, where I'm guessing such things are more likely, that many at the same time would still give them pause.
And you know what, I think I'm actually pushing for Adam to forget about Dianna and Cassie and go for Melissa.
Also, Dianna chastises Cassie for being all into the dark magic and saying she brought all this trouble to the circle just like their dad did all those years ago. But then she finds out Charles killed Amelia. So one, she must be feeling quite the fool for thinking her family's crap don't smell. But two, she must be worried what the hell Cassie will do when she finds out Dianna's not biological father was the one who killed Cassie's mom. I mean, she was barely able to stop Cassie from choking that one witch hunter to death for being associated with the group since she thought they killed her grandma. Finding out Charles actually killed her mom? Plus, he also accidentally killed her grandma. I would think Dianna is shocked about the reveal, but there's equal worry Cassie will go all dark phoenix on him.
