Apr. 10th, 2012 01:42 pmSo there's a new Resident Evil 6 trailer out:
So the girl is indeed Sherry, and the mysterious guy with her is Wesker's son? And wait, is the villainess in this supposed to be Ada? People seem to think it is, and that would kinda make sense if it is for Leon to fight Chris when he tries to attack her.
TV commentary:
Being Human- What in the world was that season finale?! I guess the last episode made everyone flip their lids!?
So obviously, Josh is devastated over Julia's death, and tries to go to her funeral, but his sister tells him he shouldn't go in, because he's the easiest target for everyone there's despair and anger and sadness. In any case, he gets called away because he's still Nora's emergency contact and he gets a call from the hospital. Apparently, she injured herself trying to get herself into the isolation room during the eclipse.
So, Josh goes to see her, and after all that's happened, he tells her he's thinking more and more of killing Ray. Then for some reason she reveals if he kills Ray, it actually cures the bloodline, so she would be free to. But she didn't want him to know that because she didn't want that to influence him. And as she hoped he hadn't chosen to kill Ray. And now that she's revealed it all, she tells him she doesn't want him to kill Ray, she's fine with the curse, she doesn't want Josh to change.
How in the world would she think telling him all that would be a good idea?! Oh, you're devastated that the werewolf curse caused the love of your life to die. BTW, if you kill him, it will also cure me, the other love of your life, but don't do it! I mean, Josh is a good man, but people can only take so much, his ex-fiancee, whom he was about to reconcile with, fled in terror of him, straight into the path of a car, and now the girl who he loved when he thought Julia was out of reach before, is lying in a hospital, hurt because he cursed her, and she thinks he that wouldn't make him go over the edge. It would make sense if she was playing him this whole time, but there's no deception here.
So, he tells Aiden and Sally of his plan. Aiden is inspired to kill Mother hearing he wants to kill Ray. So he says he'll off Mother, than help Josh with Ray. Sally, for her part is all, "You guys are going on two separate killing sprees for women? That's hott!" When did they turn evil?!
Aiden tries to get Henry to help him kill mother, and he kinda plays the father card here, so how could Henry refuse?! Even though what Aiden is asking was no easy task! Oh, just kill all of the head vampire's guards so I can waltz in and kill Mother in her secret chamber where she's at her weakest. Because offing the bodyguards of vampire royalty is an easy task. You think they would've come up with something more concrete and clever! To no one's surprise, the plan fails. Aiden sees the signal, and goes in, only to find Henry hanging on a meathook. So he's captured, and later that night, Mother announces that Suren is ruler of Boston.
But! Only if she kills Aiden. She loves Aiden more than she wants her mother's approval, so she can't. She apologizes to Mother, and Mother tells her its okay... then stakes her. Aiden is beside himself as he has a front row seat to the death of his love. He actually manages to break free and almost kill Mother, because for all her coldness, she's deeply affected over killing her own daughter.
She's not going to kill Aiden though, she's going to bury him like she did Suren. Aiden is obstinate until the end, and when Mother is telling her subjects that the "grounding" is the worst fate ever, Aiden tells her there's one thing worse- "Having to live with killing the only person who loved you!"
So, since Aiden's six feet under, he can't be there to help with Ray. Sally possesses Ray's wife to trick him to the cabin, and Josh has Ray at gunpoint, but he's too good to pull the trigger. And Sally accidentally revealed to Nora Josh's plan, so she shows up, distracting Josh and allowing Ray to escape. Ray gets the jump on Josh, and is about to shoot him, when Nora shows up with her own gun. She's aimed at Ray, but Josh tells her to shoot him to cure herself. We cut away from that Mexican standoff to hear two gunshots. So we have no idea who shot whom, who got shot. One thing I didn't think about them curing themselves, is that they won't be able to see Sally again, which is why Josh said his goodbyes to her earlier.
As for Sally, hearing the tales of what Danny told her about Limbo, she's determined to fix everything she messed up and save those people she shredded. There's two options to get there, take someone else's door, or get shredded herself. She begs her mom to do it, but what mother would kill their own daughter (well, besides Mother)? She talks Sally down, and tells her to forget all that, she'll stay with Sally and be there for her as long as she needs. Unfortunately, the reconciliation with her daughter is her only unfinished business, so her door appears. HA!
Her mom offers her the door, but Sally doesn't want her to go crazy like she did. Her mom says she has confidence in Sally that she can fix everything, and once she's done she can return from Limbo and work on helping her mom. Sally can't risk it, so since her mom's not shredding her, and won't go through the door, Sally shreds herself.
So again, what the frick is with that ending? Sally in limbo, Aiden buried alive, Josh and/or Nora possibly dead?! Argh!
