Work being work. cliffv('What's up with that?!') I had to come in an hour early yesterday to get a project done. And then I had to come in again at 2130 to get another thing taken care of, since there weren't enough people around to do it and it had to be done. But at least that stuff is all done now.

And what's with all the TV on all of a sudden? Monday night suddenly has a crapload of stuff- HIMYM, Gossip Girl, PLL, Alcatraz, House, Hart of Dixie, Hawaii Five-O, and Castle. Thursdays are also annoying. Since the CW and Fox are the ones with the delays showing up online, they're the obvious choice for the DVR. But I'm not going to not watch Vampire Diaries asap. So shockingly enough, the must see NBC comedies are pushed to Friday. I guess it wouldn't be so annoying if NBC didn't put crap at 930 instead of 830. At least that way I could watch the Office. But since I don't watch whatever is after the Office, efficiency dictates I watch The Finder, Secret Circle, or Person of Interest instead, and I'd rather watch one of the NBC comedies over those.

Although I guess I can not record VD, since I'd be watching it live anyways, and its not like I don't grab it almost immediately afterward like I do with Glee. So if I did miss VD, I'd be able to find it pretty quickly. Then I could do VD, The Office, then 30 Rock, back to live TV to catch Archer, then Parks & Rec, then either Secret Circle, Bones, or Finder if I'm not feeling tired.

Anyhoo, is it me, or because cable show seasons don't follow the same format as network TV, I swear it seems longer between seasons. Like watching Justified and White Collar, I totally forgot those cliffhangers.

Justified- Like I do not remember Raylan getting shot at all at the end of last season. I mean, I remember Ava getting shot. But maybe its because she's a hot chick, so I was worried about her safety, whereas Raylan is the star, so of course he'd be fine. But looks like Ava is alive and well, and in line to run things while Boyd is in jail.

This ep seems to be mostly setup, establishing that one too blond dude (not Jared Leto, the guy from BoB) as this season's big bad. I did like how Raylan outsmarted Jack Bass/Quinn, although its incredibly lucky that assassin guy pulled his schtick on a table with a tablecloth.

White Collar- And until I saw the promos, I totally forgot Elizabeth got kidnapped by Keller at the end of last season. I did like that Neil got to tell Peter he was planning on walking away from the treasure, because he likes the life he has now. I was going to get annoyed if Peter kept thinking Neil was a dick.

I still think Neil was in a sucky position. As he said, he didn't steal the treasure, but neither did he walk away from it. Of course, he didn't seem that into it. But he couldn't exactly turn in Mozzie. And they've been friends for a long time, so its no surprise it took him all of last season to tell Mozzie, he's just not interested in that kind of life anymore. So it was more like he was stuck between two friends whose feelings he didn't want to hurt.
