TV commentary:

Vampire Diaries- Frickin' frick this show is going to give me a heart attack. I'm kinda curious if one of the reasons I think this show is great (besides all the hot chyx) is because I can't predict what is going to happen. I mean, some things are still predictable, but its like with Lost, BSG, or Fringe, where I can't trust that a principle (or long standing secondary) character won't shockingly die all of a sudden. I shouldn't enjoy that these show cause me so much stress.

Also, nice boobies, Caroline! But seriously, its not like she was turned as a kid. There's not a big diff between 17 and 18, physically. So yeah, she was turned at 17, but she's still developing mentally, so she's virtually 18. Its not like she's stuck. And hey, some would say eternally being a hot young woman is a good thing! But really, what was with the other part of her storyline?

Did Klaus heal her of his own accord? Its not like Stefan knew Caroline had been bitten, and while Klaus could prolly figure healing Caroline would be considered a good gesture (and conversely that Stefan might get pissed if Caroline ended up dead), its still kinda weird he showed up like that.

And weirder, that he was being all lovey-dovey with her. I mean, being the one to get her out of her funk by saying there's a whole world out there she'll get to explore, that she'll have so much time to see now that she'll live forever. And even giving her the choice, saying he'd cure her only if she really wanted it. Which she did. And healing her is all well and good, maybe he's just being the wise old vampire helping out the young un. But then he leaves her that really expensive necklace?! What the?!

Of course, it could be all part of some master plan and when Klaus told Tyler to bite Caroline, it wasn't just to threaten Stefan. Speaking of poor Tyler, he gives a sweet impassioned speech of how he understands why they can't be together, because he wants to put her first, but can't because of his sire bond to Klaus. And then when he tells Klaus no, he thinks, okay, maybe his love for her is stronger. But he still ends up biting her. I can't believe he just ran away, instead of, you know, getting help?!

Looks like the Germ is gone for a while. But it seems like he at least leaves with him and Bonnie in a good place, with Bonnie kinda pissed at first that Elena had Damon compel him, but finally talking to him after their whole falling out, even if it is just to say goodbye.

But wow, Stefan really has gone off the rails. Bluffing with Elena's life. I mean, he claims he wasn't gonna let her die and become a vampire, but in the heat of the moment, who knows? And heh, I wonder if he realized how cruel it would be at the time, considering her parents died that exact same way, that she almost died the exact same way until he save her.

So, is he really getting her to hate him so she can move on? Speaking of, despite the kiss, Elena and Damon are still feeling guilty. Even after the bridge incident, Elena feels like she's betraying Stefan. And for all his talk last week of doing something to actually feel guilty about, he's still extremely patient.

That end though, so who killed the coroner guy? Is Meredith secretly a crazed killer? Alaric was also pretty aggressive when he came upon her argument with the guy? Is there more going on with him than just the ring being wonky?

Secret Circle- Dayam, nice bathrobe, Diana! Could it be any friggin shorter? But heh, its kinda funny that she and Melissa were talking about how they used to be friends, and how they grew apart. Diana started going with Adam, but heh, for Melissa, it was Faye. They do like teasing the lesbianic vibe between those two. Its like, in this ep, is Melissa feeling all jealous and alone because she's still hurting over what's his face, or because Faye was with voodoo guy? And heh, defending Faye there at the end, even though she almost got her killed?

While Faye is getting power hungry, I can see why she's angry. She's known the circle for longer, and they seem to be siding with Cassie and giving her a free pass for all the havoc Cass has accidentally wrought. Accident being the key word. Granted the problems Faye have caused were also accidental, but its because she was being reckless, Cassie was just ignorant.

I wonder if new guy knew the spell would turn out wrong and that it would suck the circle's magic and not Cassie's? Which also makes me wonder if they just dropped Faye and Cass possibly being half sisters? Or if Dawn did indeed get knocked up by Blackwell, Faye didn't inherit his power. And I'm curious, the symbol, was Blackwell actually trying to turn good, and trying to get rid of his evil side much like Cass is trying to?
