So FHM also put out their 100 sexiest women of 2011. Here's the top 10:

10. Irina Shayk

9. Nicole Scherzinger

8. Kelly Brook

7. Marisa Miller

6. Brooklyn Decker

5. Olivia Wilde

4. Megan Fox

3. Rihanna

2. Katy Perry

1. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

More supermodels in this top 10, but at least Olivia Wilde there. But they also inexplicably seem to think new Transformers chick and Katy Perry are top 3.

TV commentary:

Bones- The rumored death was more or less what I expected. I mean, I didn't think they'd actually kill any of the main characters, but there's a whole lot of squinterns, so one of them could easily be killed off and still have a profound effect on the characters since they've all been around for a couple of years now. It could've been Mac, but she's a new character, her death wouldn't have been as tragic.

But interesting, so we see a distraught Bones snuggle up to Booth in his bed, all upset over Vincent Nigel-Murray's death and staying at Booth's because Booth was worried for her safety. That's all we see, but the next day, Angela and Bones have a conversation we're not privy to, where its implied something happens.

Interesting, and with Emily Deschanel preggers in real life, I wonder if this means Bones will end up knocked up as well?

Owel, it really was a miracle VNM lasted as long as he did. And not just because his aorta was severed. The .338 Lapua is a pretty powerful round. I mean, his death wouldn't be just because Mummy guy clipped his aorta with that shot, that would be pretty massive internal damage. Its not as powerful as a .50, but it was created as a round that could do what the .50 does (like crack the engine block of a truck to disable it!) but still be wieldly against personnel.

At first, when Booth pulled out a M4 style carbine to hunt for Mummy guy at the end I was thinking, that's a poor choice for a sniper duel! I mean, the 5.56mm round is good for short range counter-sniping (prolly around 100 to 200 meters at most), but the shorter barrel reduces its effectiveness in that role. But then I remembered he was going into a container box maze, so this would be more close quarters than sniping and then the M4 with scope is appropriate. Of course, when they went to the docks, they weren't sure he was gonna be there already. And I figured Booth would always have a sniper rifle packed for when it came time to face Mummy guy. So it seems like that was gonna be his go to weapon regardless, which again, would be a poor choice, particularly if he knew Mummy guy was carrying a .338 Lapua Barrett. Unless Booth had several weapons on hand, one for a long range encounter, and the M4 for something like the sitch he was in.

I mean, that's what Mummy guy did- even though he used the bolt-action Barrett to try and snipe booth (and ended up killing VNM instead), at the port he was using an FN SCAR-L. So I will give the show kudos for having the two sniper guys using the proper weapons for the situation they were in. Often shows would've had the Mummy guy still use the unwieldy frickin' BOLT ACTION SNIPER RIFLE in close range shooting.

Of course, its a good thing for Booth that the guy's hand was broken. Because while the M4 is a solid weapon, I think the SCAR-L does serve in the DMR role quite better.
