geebsSaw the latest HP movie with the ex-roomie earlier today. Pretty awesome, definitely the best of the films so far. Heh, since they cut some characters in previous movies but were integral to the plot in this one, I'm kinda amused how they threw them in.
Like they hadn't shown Fleur since GoF, and didn't delve into her whole thing with Ron's brother Bill. But since they needed the wedding scene, they had Harry meet Bill for the first time, and distilled everything that had happened to him in a few lines. "Oh, I'm Ron's old brother who's about to marry Fleur! I got this scar from a werewolf named Greyback!" HA! I mean, I guess people who read the books already know he is, and I suppose that is all new viewers needed to know about him. Same for Mundungus. Since he wasn't in GoF, they just had him be all, "I'm Mundungus!" and have everyone treat him like he was shifty. I mean, he wasn't that important a character, so that was sufficient enough, we just needed to know he was a thief to get the whole ball rolling on finding the real necklace horcrux.
Speaking of, what was it thinking trying to mess with Ron by showing the image of Harry and Hermoine snogging in a nekkid, lurid, embrace. If it was gonna do that, it should at least not projected it directly above itself. Because guy with sword that can kill you, why would you show him something that would piss him off and cause him to attack?
Supernatural- You know, soulless Sammy is kinda hilarious. And what's Dean so pissy about, having found Sam screwing some random chick instead of looking for where he had disappeared to? I mean, Sam did bring up a good point, if he had no more leads, was he just supposed to sit in the dark and mope? What better way to not get sucked into despair than by banging some hippie hottie? One could argue Sam was seeking solace or something! And really, Dean is getting onto Sam for banging some hottie when it wasn't appropriate? Dean used to be getting tail all the time, even in the direst of sitches!
