TV Commentary:

Gossip Girl- Its weird how in the course of the ep that I went from them wanting to expose Juliet and her scheming to actually siding with Juliet and hoping she and Vanessa would take Serena down? I mean, we still don't even know what her brother's grudge against them is! But Serena's actions throughout the ep just rubbed me the wrong way. Talk about flighty! She jerks three different guys around, and yet they still worship the friggin ground she walks on! Make an effin choice, bitch!

People wonder why the hell Vanessa would side with Juliet after she framed her and got her black listed, but I can see them bonding over their mutual hatred/jealousy of Serena. I mean, Nate and Dan give them the time of day when they think Serena is off limits. Or when they think she's jerking them around, but even then they eventually forgive her when she gives them the pouty lips all sad that she's not on their pedestals. Which sure, they should be more mad at them than her for being dicks who dump them when someone better comes along. But at the same time, though she's not intentionally trying to steal them, she has this way about her where she also has this almost pathological need to be the center of attention. Like she is totally uninterested in them until the point where they don't seem interested in her, and its then when she turns on the charm.

You know, while I do like it when most of the gang teams up to take someone down, and I applaud the "non judgmental breakfast club" for sticking up for their own no matter what, all I could think was, butt the eff out. Sticking up for Serena and destroying the evidence her, okay. But their little pow wow at the end, after Colin cuts Juliet off, their whole surrounding her and exiling her thing? It was a bit much. I was hoping Juliet would finally reveal why she's after them, but the show is still insisting on keeping it mum!

And could Serena sound more self involved in the limo later with Colin, all "Oh, I understand why Juliet was so jealous of me!"? Luckily, the ep saved itself for me there at the end when it turns out Juliet didn't run away and disappear with her tail between her legs, but is teaming up with V and little J to fight back.

90210- Weird, what the hell was the point of the seeming redemption arc for Jen if she was gonna end up being a baby-abandoner! As for her sister, it was nice to see her and Ivy team up to take down Oscar. Cause it did suck for Ivy that not only did Oscar literally screw her over, but she's getting frozen out by Liam and Navid (even though she and Dixon were on a break!).

You know I realize its still technically child pr0n if Navid's dad was using 16 to 17 year olds with fake IDs, but going to his counselor and making such a crazy accusation makes it sound way worse than it is. I mean, when you say child pr0n you think of poor kids being abused. But in this case, it seemed like it was almost 18 girls trying to get in the business early by showing a fake ID and the industry not caring. Which is still wrong, but Navid's emotion kinda implied his father was into shadier stuff than he actually was into.

But ha, he bonds with Silver over all this, and they almost kiss. And amusingly enough, at the same time Ade finally stands up to her manager and stands up for Navid. HA!

And interesting, with Jen gone, and Annie and Dixon finding out about Harry's new squeeze and telling Aunt Becky, are they gonna have her and Matthews hook up?!
