I have a sudden craving for pork rinds and spray cheese. But the vending machine is broken, and will not give any pork rinds. Not that I have a can of spray cheese lying around anyways. Speaking of cheese in a can, I've always found it annoying that they list a "cheese and bacon" flavor, yet I've never found one in a supermarket. It sounds delicious! And don't knock cheese in a can! It goes great on Ritz crackers and hot dogs and the like.

*cryyyy* Well, there is a history of heart disease in my family, so....

And I can't eat mushrooms. I have an excuse! I'm allergic.

Ack, sorry! I sometimes forget some people have legitimate reasons for watching what they eat. The only allergy I have is to shrimp, which is fine by me since I don't like seafood (except for sushi rolls) anyways. Its funny too, because I was wondering why I always had this weird reaction to cajun-style chips. Then I looked at the ingredients one day and saw the "spices" included a shrimp powder!

Yikes.. That sucks. I can always tell when I eat something with mushrooms, there's a slight sweeling in my throat.. whee.. lovely.

Yeah, allergies pretty much suck. My friend Scott actually has this amusing story from when we met one of his favorite comic guys, Adrian Tomine, at a signing. Scott decided to give him some candy his mom made, pretzels and peanuts covered with white chocolate. Anyways, after the signing, he starts reading the guy's latest comic, a story about himself where he talks about his extremely bad allergy to peanuts. So my friend starts to freak out, scared that he might have killed the guy. Luckily, he knows the guy who Adrian was staying with while he was in Atlanta. So he calls him up, desperately trying to warn him about the peanuts in the candy. Of course, since he is deathly allergic to peanuts, he always checks his food anyways and my friend didn't have to worry. But it was pretty surreal, for him to unwittingly give the guy candy made of stuff that could potentially kill him, then read a story where the guy talks about how deathly allergic to peanuts he is.
