geebsSo tired. Wanted to get me a nap after I got home from work, but there was kinda a big ish that sprang up today. So, I stayed an hour and a half late to go to an "after-incident" meeting to go over what exactly went wrong, and what can be done to prevent it in the future. I had the chance to bow out of it, particularly since I wasn't actually one of the invitees, but I figured this is the sort of thing I need to be doing now. Then, when I got home, checked my e-mail, and the bossman, who's on vacay, sent e-mail wanting to know what's the what, so I spent half an hour composing something to send to him about what happened. Doing work at home, cliffv('What's up with that?!')
Also, the fricking low tire pressure light came on in my car, but I checked my tires multiple times and they're inflated to the proper levels. This would happen in the winter because of the cold, but this is the first time I've seen it in the summer. Though looking online, it sounds like I need to drive a certain speed for a certain amount of time to get the gauge to reset if the tires are truly fine, but since I've only been driving locally, I haven't been able to do that.
But enough of my woes, onto other things, like TV Commentary:
Degrassi- So, Connor has some online gf in their equivalent of WoW. The forums are thinking its that computer teacher chick. I mean, its definitely a chick he's chatting with unless they're really working on disguising their voice, and it does sound kinda like her. And from the descriptions for upcoming eps, it sounds like this girl's identity will be scandalous. I mean, I can't really see it being any of the other female characters, and its not like teacher chick has any story lines yet even though she's in the opening credits. So, I was trying to look for clues that its her, but it sounds like even if she doesn't know its Connor, she knows he goes to school, so wouldn't that clue her in to the fact this guy she likes might be a kid? Or is she assuming he's in college or something, which, I guess she looks like she might be college age as well.
Seriously, what happened to Alli and Claire, why is Alli hanging out with Jenna all the time. And possibly going on double dates with her and KC? I mean, its one thing to hang out with Jenna, its another to go on dates with her and her bf, whom Jenna stole from Alli's best friend! It was quite idiotic of her to try and do his report for him so he'll get a good grade so he can possibly go to the dance with her. And why is he so mad about being docked a letter grade even though he was unaware of Alli doing this, because he wasn't gonna hand anything in anyways! In any case, hopefully she's definitely over him, because his whole, "I put girls through a trial period, and you failed!" was beyond douche-y,
And what the, Holly J and Sav?! Where is that coming from!? First off, I don't get how they're so civil given the circumstances of his election to President! I mean, she was uncontested and was thankful because it would look good on her application to Yale. And then he ruined that by running, and then she ended up making him think he knocked up Anya, then Anya told him about the ruse and was perfectly fine to capitalize on that to win. You think there'd be some bad blood there, but apparently not!
Also, I know Holly J and Anya aren't really friends anymore, but you'd think that would make things totally awkward if Holly J and Sav did get together. Plus, how can it last? Wouldn't Holly J be in the same sitch as Anya, with his parents not approving because she's white and he already has an arranged marriage in the works? I guess I can accept them using each other to loosen up from all the stress, but as a lasting couple? No way. And I guess Fiona is fine with Holly J seeing some other guy even though Declan calls his sister every night asking about her?
