Yikes, had lunch at Junior's today. Some of my old teachers were there as well. Thankfully, they didn't recognize me. I mean, its not that I don't like them, its just I didn't want to answer the question, "So what are you doing now? Oh, so you're just sitting on that Chemical Engineering degree?" I wasn't exactly a model student, like the only thing I remember from Thermo was that two of the girls from Playboy's Girls of the ACC college special sat behind me in that class. So its not like they had high hopes for me. I just don't want to disappoint them. I'm sure if I moved to Jersey or Texas I could prolly get a job in my actual field of study. Its just I've just gotten pretty well settled here, and I dislike change.



I should get a little more serious. Think about the future more. Stop going after girls who weren't even born in the same decade as me. Perhaps I should go for more professional minded types. I heard pops had a cow when he heard about that whole waitress thing. (Though there is a part of me that would like to see what sort of hilarity would ensue if I started dating a girl from the Pony) Actually instead of skirting these two extremes of lust versus duty, I should go for someone I would actually that l-word, not someone who would make a good breeding partner.

Ida know. I think I could use a little more maturity. I mean, I don't need to become some uptight sourpuss, but I think I could tone myself down a bit.

Hey! I think the kids can learn a lot of good stuff from me! I just can't think of anything specific right now, but rest assured its stuff that's totally useful! Besides, kids like me (prolly because I'm closer to their age mentally!), so they'll be more willing to listen!
