Jul. 5th, 2002 08:10 amDang. I actually have to work today. But this time, I'm not going to jinx things and say it will be an easy-going day since most people will be off like I did Weds. Anyways, I think there's only four of us here at the CSC right now, everybody else is out.
Anywho, I guess its my turn to play the "What did I do for July 4th?" Woke up a little before noon, had a light lunch, watched a couple of DVDs, then Krug and I headed to
psyched_out's parents' house for dinner. Besides Scott's parents and us, there was of course Scott and his old lady, Sato, and her father whom they picked up straight from the airport from Japan. Because he's Japanese. As is she. But Scott is a whitey. Scandalous! I am of course, joking! That would be a pretty ridiculous statement coming from me, considering the last three girls my flip ass has gone for were all snowflakes.
But I digress. There was lots of food. It was delicious! I had a steak, 2 hot dogs, a baked potato, a slice of vanilla pudding cake and some vanilla malt ice cream from Jake's Scott's parents kept on wondering how I could eat all that and still be a skinny puke. Well, they didn't call me a skinny puke, I'm just using flavor text. Then Krug brought up the fact that I had more than a pound of bacon covered meatloaf for dinner the night before. But seriously though, it didn't seem like a lot. And what can I say, I love ground beef, and I love bacon! And then Monday night in addition to the buttered french bread and pasta and salad (not pasta salad! Ewww!), I had three and a half big eye-talian sausages. Well, Krug cooked four, and had only one, and I didn't want it to go to waste, so I finished them all up. Anyways, its just my crazy metabolism that lets me eat a lot without gaining any weight. But I digress yet again. Like I said, dinner last night was real good and filling. Got back around 9(!) I was surprised that is was already 9 by then. Then it hit me that I had work today, and I was sad.
Anyways, didn't watch the fireworks, opting instead to watch rasslin'. I mean, a bra and panties match between Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson (the two hottest of the WWE divas by far) vs. a bunch of explosions in the sky? I guess I was just never a big fireworks fan.
