Mar. 30th, 2010 10:33 amSo, over the weekend, saw Hot Tub Time Machine with the usual suspects, it was pretty hilarious. Although the ending is kinda twisted if you think about it. Diora Baird (last seen hamming it up on SVU) plays a random hottie in it, but does not show off her luscious melons. She's not even wearing a low cut shirt! cliffv('What's up with that!?') But who does show their nice sweater cows? Jessica Pare (who I remember once being described as Kim Smith, but with bigger breasts, but I first knew her from "Lost and Delirious" where she and Piper Perabo play lesbian lovers, not to be confused with "Dazed and Confused", where Matthew Mcconaughey like high school girls because as he gets older they stay the same)
TV Commentary:
Chuck- Ah, I was right, that chick Sarah shot was Shaw's wife! But Romo Lampkin shows Shaw footage of this, so needless to say, Shaw is distraught.
So, Chuck finally puts it all on the line and this time its Chuck who says let's run away together and to meet him at a train station. (and Sarah sounds like she'll give it a go, even before Casey tells her he was the one who shot the mole and Chuck is still the innocent guy she fell for) She doesn't show, but that's because Shaw took her somewhere for something important, though she has no idea she shot Shaw's wife and the implication is that Shaw is taking her somewhere to kill her. But I'm skeptical. I'm sure he doesn't think she's actually culpable and is gonna figure out what it all means and get her help with his revenge.
And, at least Chuck doesn't think Sarah didn't abandon him, as General Beckman lets him know they got a hold of that footage Shaw saw, and they think he absconded with her. She's unaware of why Shaw's wife was Sarah's red test target, so I wonder if it was the Ring who tricked Sarah, like one of her trainers was actually Ring.
And wtf, Chuck will get his pick of peeps in Italy, but why the hell would Casey and Morgan think he's allowed to pick them? Well, Morgan is just an idiot, but I'm skeptical they'd let him pick Casey, even if he's one of the best- he barely escaped getting killed/imprisoned for treason!
Gossip Girl- So apparently, Chuck's mom loves Jack, so that's why she betrays her own son? But at least she feels really bad about it! She tries to get Jack to choose the hotel or her, but he of course chooses the hotel. So she decides to leave, and Chuck begs her to stay. But she's feeling guilty about what she did to her son that she lies and claims it was a lie and she was never his mother. Of course, I don't think anyone actually believed that, even Chuck. But she's still dead to him since she's leaving. In the end, he's fine with it all- well, not fine, but he doesn't let it get to him the way it would've in the past.
Dan and V are having issues because Vanessa is all things didn't really change other than they're frakking now and she was expecting if they actually became boyfriend-girlfriend things would be different. Dan reassures her they're not just friends, with benefits.
Since little J has been all depresso as of late, Rufus got Eleanor Waldorf to give Jenny a second chance. And that seems to revitalize her. Until Agnes shows back up to throw a monkey in the works. She's still pissed about last year, so she drugs Jenny and almost gets her raped, but Nate comes to the rescue. Lucky for little J, things didn't get too screwed up, because Eleanor hires Jenny back. So she's happy. But its clear she'd be happier if she had Nate too.
In the meantime, B, as usual does something insane, namely hire that one hooker chick and her friends to pretend to be her friends because she's too embarrassed to tell Eleanor she's a big loser now. But when she sees her mom stand up to the GG world's equivalent of the Wal-Mart guy, she fesses up to it. It shows how much their relationship has grown that Eleanor plays the loving mother and tells her Waldorf woman don't fit and not to worry about it. But it works out, since Blair meets some Columbia girls who read Gossip Girl, so it looks like Blair might transfer over there.
Life Unexpected- So there's a storm, and people are stranded together and secrets are revealed!
Lux and Jones are friends again, and he tries kissing her at a party, so she freaks out. He's all he understands she's with Bug, and won't pull a stunt like that again, but she's a hard girl to walk away from. Then she spies him kissing another girl and freaks out again, and they have another argument wherein Jones says he can't wait for her, but its not like he was kissing this girl on purpose to make it happen.
Anyways, because of circumstances, she and Ryan end up stuck at the station, and she worries why about the freak outs and what they mean. They have a heart to heart about her life before finding Cate and Baze, and how she and Tosh became BFFs, and how she was almost adopted once, but they could tell she didn't want them since she was still holding out hope for her parents to actually show up that they went with someone else. And Ryan explains to her its normal to feel hurt at being rejected, even if its by something she didn't actually want. In the end, she talks it out with Jones and they're friends again.
Meanwhile, Cate finds out about Baze and Abby, and is freaked why she's so worked up, so she tries to elope with Ryan because she's scared what will happen if he gets wind of any of this. Thanks to the storm, they don't, but while Ryan and Lux are at the station, she gets stuck with Baze and her sister and the guys at the bar. Math and other guy can't stand Abby, and Baze admits he was only giving it a go because he wanted to prove to Lux he wasn't just fooling around with Abby and he can be in a serious relationship.
So, he breaks up with her, and when Abby won't let him, he claims he has feelings for Cate, which Cate of course overhears and freaks out (seriously, do Cate and Lux always have to parallel each other!?). Then, he admits to Cate he just made it up to break up with her sister, and she's mad again. Abby realizes Baze actually does have feelings for Cate, particularly since that was his go to lie, that there's a hint of truth somewhere there. So she lets Baze go, and she and Cate mend bridges also when they cry over how they're strangers now and how things changed when she got preggers.
In the end, Cate fesses up to Ryan about the freak out, and he's cool with it, particularly since he just told Lux it was normal after she did the same thing. So they decide not to elope because they want to do the wedding with their families. But they're pushing it up to two weeks from now, just in time for the season finale! Heh, anyways, they have an awkward toast about it, wherein everybody but Math and other guy figure out Baze is totally in love with Cate.
