I'm certainly posty today. Heh, just because Glee isn't returning until April, you didn't think that meant I wouldn't post about it? But saw A new Glee promo for the upcoming eps on Facebook. I cannot wait for the upcoming all-Madonna song episode!(I know, could I sound any more queer?) Is that Rachel singing my all time favorite Madonna song, "Express Yourself"? Awesome. Alas, the only other song I could pick up on from the preview was The Beatles' "Hello Goodbye".
Oh, and again I'm screaming at the powers that be, why oh why did you move Glee to be opposite of Lost?! If I had to limit my TV watching to two shows (like that would ever happen!), those would be it, and they're on at the same time?!
Speaking of Lost, yet more Lost commentary:
Just thinking about the names listed on the wall and Ilana's statement that Smokey is stuck as Locke now. Can Esau only take a form of one of Jacob's candidates if they die, but off the island? I mean, he did turn into Alex once, but the Rousseau listed, we don't know if that means her or her mother. (And did she really go by that last name? Like wouldn't she grow up thinking her name was Alex Linus because she thought Ben was her dad?) And the only other two on that list who've showed up after their death are Charlie (to Hurley) and Horace (to Locke in a dream).
So, Ben killing Locke off the island and them bringing the corpse back let Bocaj get around some rule to take the form of one of the candidates and thus was allowed to see Jacob?
Heh, there's also a Fernandez listed, which people are thinking means Nikki, but its also a somewhat common Spanish-sounding last name.
Also, this new reality, is it acting like the blowing up the pocket was successful, but everything prior to that took place? Like Ethan and Ben are off the island because they were evacuated by Miles' dad? But if that is the case, doesn't that mean Ben is still "infected"? Well, he is kinda a curmudgeon in this new reality.
Here's a silly one- Randy is Locke's boss. But when Hurley got rich, he bought the Kluckin' Chicken or whatever the hell that Chicken Shack was called, and re-hired Randy, but then it got demolished by that rogue asteroid or whatever, killing Tricia Tanaka (who of course was played by Korean cutie Sung Hi Lee) and some time later he started working at the company Locke did. But, if Hurley is now the luckiest man in the world, I assume the shack would not have been destroyed, and thus Randy would still have a job there. I know, he could've just said, frak this working in the fast food industry, I'm going to work at a Box company!
Or perhaps the shack did get destroyed, but his luck was that she saved Tricia Tanaka's life, and she was very thankful, if you know what I mean! But in the original timeline, he mentioned his girlfriend Starla (played by the attractive Marguerite Moreau) ran off with his friend Johnny (played by DJ Qualls) in the interview with her. But again, if he's so lucky, that prolly wouldn't have happened!
