Supernatural- So Anna goes back in time to kill John and Mary to get around everyone being all "Don't kill Sam Winchester!" Because if she slays his parents before he's born that accomplishes the same thing without technically killing him.
So Castiel sends the boys back in time to stop it, but is laid out for the majority of the ep from the power it takes to do that since he's cut off from his former powers. After saving their parentals and hemming and hawing, they finally reveal to Mary that they're her future sons, and tearily tell her to leave John so they'll never be born (which they're fine with) and she can have the normal life she's always wanted. Of course, she refuses, and its too late anyways, as she's already preggers with Dean.
In the end, after getting their asses kicked by Anna and a young Uriel (I was wondering why he'd be younger since he's an angel, but I forgot they're possessing humans also. Well, he is, Anna is in that form that looks like her when she was human), Michael possesses John and burns away Anna, sends away Uriel, and makes the Winchester parents forget the whole deal. So even though Mary's family were the hunters, its the Winchester bloodline Michael can use as vessels?
So of course, they go back to the future, unable to change their destiny, but you didn't think they'd actually be able to change things, did you?
Smallville- Interesting, this ep was touted as the 2-hour ep featuring the former Justice Society, but what they don't mention is it also features Checkmate. So, of course, that also means Amanda Waller and Suicide Squad. Although when Waller shoots Icicle while being all "welcome to the Suicide Squad", she's not actually welcoming him to it, since she's killing him and technically he's leaving the suicide squad's service.
Anyhoo, so a bunch of old JSAers get killed, leaving Hawkman, Dr Fate, and Stargirl to team up with Clark, Chloe, Green Arrow, and Martian Manhunter to take down the Icicle. Dr Fate dies, but not before restoring Martian Manhunter's abilities. No one else from the nascent Justice League shows up, so no Black Canary, Flash, Cyborg, or Aquaman. Though it looks like we get Zatanna again next week. No Speedy either. All in all, it wasn't the greatest ep, but it does get points for the comic references.
Caprica- Wow, things aren't getting better for the Greystones. So, I've been wondering why they've been assuming Zoe was the bomber. Her mom insists she is, "she just knows it", proving she still doesn't know her daughter. Who, btw, grossly ends up watching her parents get it on in the lab. Like why don't they think its her boyfriend? Anyways, the police have evidence implicating him, unfortunately, its a tape where they caught him with bomb materials and send him on his merry way. So, they do a cover up which gets the Graystones in further hot water with the public.
So, is the PR chick played by Kat like her great grandmother or something?
Anyways, Zoe and Lacey accidentally release Tamara's avatar into the net, so after Joe Adama has his gay brother kick Daniels ass to make him show him Tamara again, when they do go to the room, she's gone.
Adama acts cool about it, but then at his brother's place (who has a husband!) he ominously order his brother to put a hit out on Amanda Greystone, being all "Daniel and I both know the loss of a daughter, but I also lost a wife- why don't you go ahead and balance things out!" rjv('Cold-blooded!')
Okay, I wish I had been paying more attention. Is Sister Clarice a member of that secret group or not? She was talking to that one guy in the confessional who was complaining that the whole Zoe thing threatens to expose them, but then the guy Lacey tackled there at the end never saw her at any of the meetings.
