A J.J. Abrams flavored TV commentary post:

Lost- Interesting, someone posted a certain couple of scenes side by side. Heh, I guess I'm not too astute after all. I thought everything prior to the crash was reused footage, I didn't realize they re-filmed the whole scene. But I guess they had to, since I didn't notice Jack was sitting on a different seat.

Fringe- Ah, a pretty interesting ep to leave off on for the "winter finale". So a building from the other place gets pulled into our universe, leading to lots of grossness with people being melded into each other and into the building.

Apparently, Olivia (or rather "Olive") had all sorts of useful abilities when she was a little girl, but lost them when she stopped being scared and became a fearless Feeb. So besides being able to spot otherworlders, she had some sort of pyrokinesis? I wonder what other tricks she has.

Anyways, she gets her ability to see other world energy back in time to save the people in the building about to be shunted to the other world. Wait, doesn't that mean that other world will have a building meshed with its counterpart like in the beginning of the show? And there's no way for them to warn the other universe, so a bunch of otherworlders died messy deaths?

But seriously, the cover ups going on? They talked about the whole "controlled demolition" lie, how did they hush all those people, like the doorman who grabbed onto Olivia to avoid getting sucked to the other universe? Or the responders to the combined buildings, did the news talk about these meshed corpses?! I would think people would freak out at that!

And what's with the other world being stupid? Double decker cars?! That makes no sense at all! But anyways, with her sight returned, she sees Peter as the otherworlder he is, with Bishop figuring out she knows and begging her to keep it a secret. So, finally someone else knows! But between her and Astrid hearing that suspicious, "I can't lose him again" line, will they figure out the circumstances of what exactly happened with Peter?

And is there an alt-Bishop who's mad that Peter was taken from him, and is trying to get him back? And if Bell is on the other side, what happened to his other world counterpart? And wait, how does the whole Peter thing work for the balance? At least when Olivia went to the other side, she came back. But if the universes need to correct themselves to maintain balance, wouldn't something have had to been shunted to the other universe if Peter was brought back to their universe?

More simply, Jack looked older.
