geebsAh, Complex has a Top 100 Girls List, but this time of the decade. Some interesting choices there, but talk about a terrible top 10:

7) Jennifer Lopez

It is ethnically diverse though, I was about to say, "What, no asians?" but I guess Cassie is half Filpino.
Saw Adventureland last night. Not bad, and the soundtrack was pretty awesome, but I've always been a fan of 80s flavored soundtracks. And I swear I must've gone through another universe shift again, because I looked this up before and its not the same when I was looking it up last night. Anyhoo, while this wasn't filmed in the Adventureland of my youth, it was based on that place, just filmed in Pittsburgh at another park made up to look like Adventureland. It is a reasonable facsimile, because it did bring back memories. Heh, they even had the antique car ride in the movie. All they needed was the pool with the radio controlled boats and the railroad crossing in front of the arcade. Honestly though, its a pretty small park comparatively, I can't believe I was so excited to go there when I was a kid. Though I mostly wanted to go there for the arcade. I mean, it wasn't that big, but my choices were limited to that, the Time Out in Roosevelt Field mall (which closed) and the arcade on Main St in Flushing. TV commentary:
Glee- Great fall finale. But now we have to wait til April for new eps?! Hopefully they'll at least release some songs before then to whet our appetites. I heard the first 13 were already filmed before they even started showing, which is why the ep had a "could serve as the series finale" feel to it, resolving all the important storylines. I mean, it was a bold new idea for a show, and I'm glad it did well and is being renewed, but since they couldn't have known they would do so well, I can see (and am glad) why they'd try to wrap things up there.
Mercedes' and Rachel's solo songs were pretty good. And "You Can't Always Get What You Want" is one of those songs that's better in the context of the show. I mean, "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Somebody to Love" (is it a crime that I love this version way more than the original Queen version?) are amazing on their own, but this and "Keep Holding On" you had to see the numbers to really get into it. "Keep Holding On" had the Glee club all re-assuring Quinn with all sorts of sweet gestures, and what I think made "You Can't Always Get What You Want" (weird that looking in various forums, I'm not the only one who thinks of House when this song plays) was Will just looking amazed and awed and happy for his kids listening to it over the phone. Though what's up with the random old white people in the audience standing up and dancing along. Like, I'm glad they got into it, but if I was there and they did that in front of me, I'd be all "Sit down, I'm trying to watch the show!" But same goes for "My Life Would Suck Without You", its an okay cover of the song, but it was amusing to see how it played out and the kids did a montage of all their dance numbers from the season.
Weird, I noticed a thing between Matt and Mercedes a couple of times. Like before Mercedes did her solo and they were silently mouthing stuff to each other (heh, has he ever had an actual line?), and then I think there was something when they got to sectionals. It would be cool to see something between them. I mean, I'd like to see Mercedes and Kurt get love interests, since the rest of the main characters seem to be paired off (Puck/Rachel/Finn/Quinn and Artie/Tina) and it would be prosaic just to pair Brittany and Mike and Santana and Matt off.
Speaking of Santana, I did like that she said Glee club was the thing she looked forward to most in the day. I think they needed that, because out of all the Glee kids, she's the one who's loyalty wasn't determined yet. Obviously, you have the main kids (the original 6 plus Puck and Quinn), and then Matt and Mike proved their loyalty by choosing it over football the one time. Brittany is too much of a sweet (but dumb), well sweetheart to hate it (even though it was technically her who gave the lists to Sue, or so she says, since that seems to be a continuity mistake since we saw Sue get the setlist from Will himself because she's technically over him and they needed her to sign off on it), plus, she was the first of the non originals to be see hanging out with the Gleeks on her own when she was doing the Single Ladies thing with Kurt and Tina. So its nice to see that we know they're all on board.
Is is any surprise they won in the end? I mean, since this was only sectionals, what the hell would they have to do the rest of the season if they lost and the club had to disband because of Figgins' earlier edict? I was think Eve's club might win but then they would get it when Eve withdrew her club for cheating. Though I guess its good they still won on their own merits, even though from the judges reaction, it was more they were the team they disliked the least. It was kinda hilarious that the judges were that jerky anchorman Sue dated, Sarah Newlin(! Its nice to see her still doing stuff after True Blood with this and playing Pam's sister. She's pretty cute, particularly when she plays thosee kinda mid-west/Texas beauty queen kinda roles) and the bored comptroller who was just filling in for her boss and knew nothing about show choir.
Onto the big stuff! The true paternity of Drizzle is revealed. I was worried how this was going to go down, but I think it went well. Rachel ended up being the one who revealed it, though I wish they hadn't her say she did do it in a moment of weakness to break them up. I mean, it was ridiculous that everyone except for Finn and Rachel knew, and none of them seemed to be at least trying to get Quinn and Puck to stop lying to Finn. Some say it wasn't Rachel's place to say, but the way everyone was carrying on, the truth never would've come out, and that's not fair to Finn. But it was good to see Quinn not mad, because as she said, the truth needed to come out. But the Puckleberry shipper in me was pleased with that deep, silent look Puck and Rachel shared as Rach left Quinn and Puck was going to speak with her. Even if they don't end up together, I would to at least like to see them as good friends.
But yeah, besides being all for them, I would rather see Finn and Quinn reconcile rather than them ending up with Rachel and Puck. While their thing was very similar to Will and Terri, Quinn's nowhere near as bad as Terri, and a Quinn working her way back to Finn's good graces would interest me more than a Quick courtship.
Oh, but Ken dumps Emma at the altar. Which, good for him! Its good to see he finally got some backbone, it was silly for him to continue deluding himself and settling for being Emma's consolation prize. And I'm also glad that Emma was totally self aware about that and how she was quitting because of the shame she felt for what she did to Ken and how she couldn't hold her feelings for Will in any longer. Then Will said he just left Terri, and she re-iterated, "Exactly, you just left Terri". They might not want to take things too fast, too bad they kinda forgot all about that when Will just ran to Emma at the end and kissed her. But like i said, I think the show, when filmed, wasn't sure if there would be more eps, so they at least wanted to give them a happy ending if it was an ending.

But probably in a different order. Jolie should be #1, and Jessica Alba closer to the top. These two aren't really my favorites or anything, but I think they are recognizably more of a majority favorite of the general populace.
Of the others:
Kim Kardashian: who? after googling: she is somewhat attractive but comes across as a slut/whore/prostitute/porn star. Doesn't seem like top 10 material really.
Megan Fox: she's pretty, but nothing special.
Rihanna: I don't think she's actually all that hot. She has sex appeal due to the way she sings/behaves in her music videos, but....
Jennifer Lopez: I guess she might be worthy of being on the list, but I'd put her lower than top 10
Cassie: who? after googling: she's ok, but hardly top 10 material.
Keira Knightley, Jennifer Gardener and Natalie Portman should probably be in the top 10 somewhere. IMO.
