Dexter- So the three killings Trinity repeats are those of his parents and sister? That's kinda odd, to just recreate your family's deaths over and over again. But heh, after some counseling,Deb Rita (heh, I always keep getting those two mixed up, I guess Deb is his real life wife) forgives Dex, and even lets him have a shed out back with a padlock, so now he has a place to "work" from.
But now that problems over with, he has a whole slew of new probs to deal with. He's confronted Trinity, so now he needs to figure out how to take him out. But Deb realizes it wasn't Tourist Murderer or his gf who shot her and killed Lundy, but that's because she figured out some of Lundy's notes are missing, the ones Dexter stole. So now she's out to find Trinity also. She's also close to figuring out who Harry was sleeping with. I'm actually kinda curious what her reaction is gonna be when she finds out its Dex's mom.
Friday Night Lights- Finally caught this. (Sorry, just couldn't wait until it showed up on NBC) Interesting premiere. So Riggins just decides to up and quit school? WTF?! But between him and Matty, what are they doing?! The poor guys they're like total losers now! And grandma Saracen is battier then ever, not even realizing Matt's no longer in HS playing football and Coach was fired! I know he's being loyal to his grams, but he's in no way qualified to continue caring for her! Especially now that he's just a pizza boy dating a hs-er and can't even get into "Dillon Tech", some random art school they just came up with!
But who's in East Dillon? Landry got sent there (didn't he graduate? I thought during that Luncheon they mentioned Landry getting into some place special?), as did Devin, though her mom refused to transfer her there and they actually had to have cops come to Dillon and escort her to the new school. (Really?!) Now that all her friends are graduated or at East Dillon, and with what's his face quarterback with the a-hole dad has turned into as big an a-hole as his dad (WTF?! Didn't his dad smack him around, why's he back with him?), she had no desire to stay at Dillon, so she lets her rents know she's going to East Dillon.
There's some new characters- this one petty criminal kid whom the cop brother of some guy Coach used to Coach asked him to take into his team to turn the kid around. He's pretty fast, as the cops chasing him when we first are introduced to him can attest. Then there's this one kinda cute singer girl who's bartender mother Tim banged when he got back. Heh, wonder if he's going to go for the set and nail her too?!
Pretty sad ending though. Coach doesn't have a big enough team to not have some kids playing both offense and defense since he kicked out/told those who didn't want it to leave. So the kids play their hearts out (to hardly any audience since most everyone is at the Dillon game) but by the end of the first half, not only is the score 45 to 0, they're are beat all to hell. Bless their hearts, they still want to go out there, but Coach has no choice but to forfeit, lest these kids get crippled or killed! Not a good start to the year!
V- Caught this, seems interesting enough. Though there sure are a lot of weird looking people on this show. So apparently, there have been Vs on Earth, sowing discord so when the main fleet comes in at the start of the show, they can play the saviors. But Juliet and 4400 guy are at the right place at the right time and become part of the resistance. Poor Juliet though, her son decides to become a "Peace Ambassador" at the same time so he can get into Supergirl's pants. But not all the Vs are bad. Apparently there's a V sleeper guy who wants to help the resistance, possibly because he loves his human fiancee.
NCIS- Heh, interesting to her Mike Franks' definition of self defense! So, setting a trap for them at his boat and shooting them in the back is self defense? I know he saw them carrying guns, but still! Well, it turns out that was a lie anyways, and it was his daughter in law who killed them because Franks has gotten old and soft and she popped them right quick as they stood over Franks. So, to cover it up, he shot into their wounds with his .45 to destroy the .22LR shells she shot into them. Interesting concept!
Heh, and how fortuitous that ex-fake-super-soldier guy was one of the guys the T-1000 sent to "rescue" Franks' daughter-in-law and granddaughter! I actually had to look up who he was though since Tony and Ziva recognized him. I was wondering why he was so pissed at his boss since wasn't he just doing a job, but I guess while the team thought they were rescuing a mother and daughter, since the bossman was at NCIS earlier, he knew that this wasn't a rescue mission and they were grabbing them because her mother paid him too?
