Oct. 27th, 2009 01:09 pmHeh, one of the new shows you can watch on the TV in Liberty City, Princess Robot Bubblegum:
But just caught the first ep of Assassin's Creed Lineage:
Looks to be a mix of live action and CGI, telling the story before Assassin's Creed 2. Looks pretty cool.
Dang, I was hoping that even though there's no new ep of Glee this week, they'd still release the singles before the 1st soundtrack comes out next week. I was hoping to get the single for their version of "Defying Gravity" from Wicked today, but guess I'll have to wait for the soundtrack to come out on the 3rd, which I'm getting anyways to get the exclusive Quinn version of "I Say A Little Prayer". So you'd think they would've release the last two singles ("Defying Gravity" and Artie's lounge version of Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself") to bleed more money from those fans who would buy the singles and the soundtrack. But then I guess they wouldn't have anything to release the week of the next ep. But I hear they're also doing CCR's "Proud Mary" next ep, and that's on the second soundtrack, so there's that.
Hmm, sources tell me the next soundtrack has a mashup (you know how I love those) of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" and "Hair" from "Hair". Hmm, that sounds like an interesting combo, I'm definitely curious to see how it goes. I also here there's a mashup of "Don't Stand So Close To Me" by the Police and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap's "Young Girl" (you know, "Young girl, get out of my mind, my love for you is way out of line, better run girl, you're just too young girl!". Oh cool, but I didn't realize the second soundtrack was being released as early as December 8th!
Anyhoo, while I was disappointed "Defying Gravity" wasn't out yet, I did see they just released a "Platinum" edition of Taylor Swift's Fearless, with six new songs, including a little slower piano version of "Forever and Always" (which seems to be a favorite of many aspiring teen singers posting stuff on youtube, though those chicks seem to do a lot of Taylor Swift in general) which sounds pretty awesome.
