How was I unaware of Rock of Ages?! I mean, the way I've been carrying on, you think this was something I would have known about. Just looking at the soundtrack listing, it looks like it kicks total ass!

Like I said via Twitter, I heard it's actually good, or at least a fun show. Not a fan of jukebox musicals, but I'd see if for James Carpinello.

Yeah, I actually got the soundtrack to listen to. I enjoyed it, its full of songs I liked already. They cast sounds good, and Amy Spanger has a cute voice.

Is jukebox musicals the term for such things? What else is there besides it and Mamma Mia? I know there's a Queen one and a Billy Joel one.

Then Crazy For You is kinda a jukebox of Gershwin songs, but I don't think people consider it b/c it's all from other Gershwin musicals / standards.

Cat Stevens is making one. Moonshadow. Not so thrilled about that.
