Glee- Hmm, interesting episode tonight. I guess Quinn, Santana, and Britney are less spies and are starting to actually integrate into the glee club? I mean, it was a little surprising to see Britney and Tina hanging out with Kurt doing the Single Ladies dance. I was pleasantly surprised to see Kurt's dad accept him so easily. Though I guess the dad said he figured it out a long time ago, so its not like it was a big surprise to him.
I like Rachel a lot, but she was being kinda bratty this ep. Especially since Will explained it wasn't an attack on her, that Rachel is already the best singer they had, but he needs the others to get more confident and thus improving their performances, because its a team effort. But her quitting does add a needed obstacle, particularly since the Glee club is getting bigger and better, what with the football win getting Puck and a couple of other football players to fill the missing places they need to compete at regionals. There has to be conflict. Though while she is being kinda bratty, looking over the forums, I forgot she lost her "Don't Stop Believin'" solo, and I'm not sure if she's gotten a replacement number yet. With her desire to be a star, I guess it can be disheartening not to have a definite place yet. Sure, Will says she's the star, but if she's not getting the chance to prove it, I can see her getting paranoid. Plus, with the Cheerios and football players joining the club? Now she has no escape from the torment.
I mean, she acts big and strong, but you know she's totally miserable. At least with Glee club, she could sing her heart out to make the troubles go away, but now she can't, and even worse, everything stressing her out is right there now- Will, her unrequited crush, Puck, who's always throwing slushies at her, Quinn and the Cheerios who are always saying nasty things to her. So I can see both sides of the issue. I think Will wants everyone to find their voice, and that's a good thing, and while he is trying to explain that to Rachel, I think he also needs to see just because Rachel is good doesn't mean she doesn't need that same kind of help and attention he's giving the others. Since she seems the most self-assured and does a good job of hiding her issues (well, that and her personality makes her come off as pretty spoiled), I think he has her put in the box of "people he doesn't need to worry about" and cast her aside to help out those he thinks need help. So that being said, I don't think Will is purposely trying to freeze her out to make her learn a lesson. I think that's a very tiny part of it, but mostly, I think its more he thinks she's fine when she's not.
Interesting, when I heard rumors of a Quinn being preggers storyline, I thought it was gonna be some ploy to keep Finn from Rachel. But getting knocked up for real by Puck but claiming its Finn's, and Terri getting wind of it and planning on making a deal to get her baby is semi-outlandish, but also an intriguing turn of events. I disagree with people saying Quinn is trying to trap Finn. I mean, she is sort of, but not maliciously. I don't think its that she's this gold digger who sees Finn as some star she's trying to hitch her wagon to. For one, Finn's not this big star. I think when she calls Puck a "Lima Loser", its because she see's the way he acts. Finn is this nice guy. Given two guys who prolly have very similar futures, which would she choose, the promiscuous dick, or the nice guy who's always been loyal to her. Even if Puck seems sincere and says he would take care of, its still hard to trust.
As for Terri, even though what she's doing is pretty horrible, I still think there's greyness here. Well, in that her motivations aren't totally malicious either. In the pilot, I did think it was an outright lie, but the next ep showed she did think she really was preggers. Yeah, it was bad she didn't tell Will the truth, but at the very least its not like when she found out she thought, "this is the perfect leverage to make him do what I want!" I think so far they've shown that part of it is that the lie has gotten so far, that she's scared that when she does tell the truth Will will leave her. So she's stuck in this trap she doesn't know how to get out of. She's a superficial bitch, yeah, but she's not nearly as evil as Sue.
But anyways, Quinn being preggers for real is definitely an interesting turn of events. As for Rachel quitting, I'm sure that won't last more than an ep and she'll see the error of her ways.
SVU- WTF, how is Michael from Prison Break still a cop?! I mean, there were things he did that seemed like they should have gotten him outright suspended several times in this ep! That being said, I don't believe for a second he threw the guy at the window. I mean, it just seems like the guy knew they had him dead to rights anyways, and the way they portrayed the rapist guy at the end, I wouldn't put it past him to give them the ultimate eff you by killing himself in that way to screw over that innocent guy and definitely besmirch Mikey's rep. I'm curious, was Michael just a special guest star for this ep, or is there more to this story, because its definitely an odd place to end his story.

Like wouldn't that sort of thing, even if there was no legal recourse, rocket up the chain from the bitchy DA lady to the state AG to the Governor for a quick pardon? In the process of a trail, if there's evidence that clears the defendant, but it's inadmissible on a technicality, they still let the guy go, cause they're looking for the actual guy who did it, not just to win.
