Heh, they've installed dispensers for that anti-bacterial liquid stuff outside the entrances to the machine rooms here at work, I guess to be more preventative.

Book commentary:

Beyond the Shadows- Finally finished with this. A nice ending, though I'd like to see more on this world. Actually, 5 years from the end, will Kylar and Lantano duel it out to the death? Or would they blunt their swords? I mean, Kylar promised the duel, and Lantano's honor demands it, but now that Kylar knows how his immortality works, I doubt he'd want to lose and have someone he loves die in his place. And at the same time, Lantano is king of Ceura, doubtless there'll be chaos if one of the kings was killed in a duel!

I was spoiled for a lot of the book, but one thing I didn't know was that Khali was gonna end up being a corrupted version of Trace, the holder of the white ka'kari. Interesting, so she was a former love of Durzo's, and he did commit suicide one to purposely try and kill her because she'd been corrupted. I'm curious though, was her being hideous a lie/embellishment that came about down the centuries? She claimed she was ugly, but Durzo said she wasn't. Now, was it that he found her attractive despite her looks, or was she as ugly as she said?

Anyways, I do think the books would make for a nice RPG campaign world. Just got to go a little more depth on everything. And lots of cool classes/enemies. I mean, the different type of Krul and the Ferali make for cool monsters. And there would be all sorts of unique classes to the world. You have the Lae'Knaught knights (who I presume would get decent spell resistance), Sa'Kage Wetboys (I guess they'd be assassins with lots of magical abilities), Khalidorian vurdmeisters (though not after the end of this last book) and Highlanders (basically huge barbarians), Sethi pirates, the Chantry sisters (who would be really good at healing and support magic) and the Mages of the different schools (particularly battle mages!), and the Sa'ceuri, who would be bad-ass samurai. But even small groups like the Order of the Garter and Agon's Dogs would make for cool fighter-rogue types.

TV commentary:

90210- While I do feel sorry for Silver, she is still kinda totally crazy. I can understand Dixon wanting a break, particularly after the whole Ethan thing. I mean, Silver is a lot of drama, so to find out she might not be in their relationship all the way (even though she does want to be), I can see how that can kill his mood.

Still, he's being a total ass. Being upset at Silver is one thing, but what the hell is he still mad at Annie for? Oh, boo-hoo, he had to go to Summer School. Did it ruin any big plans? Obviously his sister is hurting over something. But then hearing about the picture and not wanting to deal with it? At least he punched that one guy for her! Otherwise, he's a jerk.

Also an ass, Navid. Way to chase off your totally hot girlfriend! Forbidding her to see Teddy? Dumb-ass.

But wow, Jen takes the cake. As I've said before, what a frakkin' krant. Okay, she slept with her sister's bf, that's bad. But stringing Mr. Matthews along so rich guys won't think she's a total gold-digger, holding the threat of Liam being sent to Juvie if he reveals they slept together to Naomi, and then manipulating Naomi into sending the sext of Annie? BITCH!

Though I don't know why Liam doesn't try to get to Silver or Adriana first, convince them, then he'll have some backup to talk to Naomi. Speaking of Naomi and Silver, while Annie is self-involved, I don't see any problem with her getting pissed at Silver thinking there's no possible way Naomi could have done it. Has she met her?! And what's with her saying Naomi never did anything so horrible to her. Sexting is pretty bad. But revealing Silver's dad was cheating on her mom, and causing them to get divorced and her mom to turn back into a drug addict/alcoholic is just as bad!

OTHSo I was rewatching the opening of Monday's OTH to verify the one girl who mysteriously showed up at the part was Riley from "Beyond the Break" (when I saw her, I thought she looked familiar, it took me a few minutes of going through my head to be 99% sure it was her. I also didn't realize last season on GG she was the fake nanny in that weird Eyes Wide Shut storyline they were doing with Chuck, but now that I think about it, that was indeed her), but apparently Julian, Quinn, and Nate's Agent are in the cast credits, not the guest stars. As I said, I thought with Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton gone, they were trying to get the cast down, but nope, its just as big!
