TV Commentary:

Vampire Diaries- I've always thought Mia from Degrassi:TNG was hot, so I thought, I'll check this out. Could this show be any more generic and boring? And the main vampire guy, wasn't he playing the mysterious supernatural creature with a thing for the goody girl (in this case, MEW) back in 2002 on Wolf Lake. And his evil brother is played by Boone from Lost. I mean, isn't he kinda old for such a role, he was playing teenager almost a decade ago! (He's almost my age!) Of course, I don't know how old he's supposed to be on the show (well, apparent age, not "vampire" age), but if he's not close to teenage apprarent age, doesn't that make his attempts to seduce the main chick kinda creepy?

Supernatural- Interesting, with Ruby being offed last season, they need a new demon chick, so Meg is back. (That is convenient for the show, they can change people playing the demons and just excuse it as "the demon is possessing a new host") Original Meg was played by Nicky Aycox (currently on Dark Blue as the cop chick, as opposed to playing relatives of cops on crime procedurals, like Rush's sister on Cold Case and Brass' daughter on CSI. Well, the first appearance, the rest of the eps his daughter was portrayed by Louisa on Gilmore Girls. I first thought Nicki was cute all the way back when she played Jackson's blind gf on USA High. And she was in one of my favorite X-Files ep where she and a couple of other guys developed super speed, because super speed is a cool power) while Meg 2.0 is played by Rachel Miner (who I always found strangely attractive since Bully, but prolly because she does a lot of full frontal in it. She is of course the ex-wife of Macaulay Culkin, and the roomie and I were talking over dinner the other day about Kings, which lead to Culkin, which led to the roomie mentioing he's an avid WoW player and was all, he got his SO into playing, so at first I thought, Rachel Miner? But I knew they had divorced a while ago. And apparently I live under a rock and didn't know he was going out with Mila Kunis, and she's the gf of his who's an avid WoW player. But I digress. Could I ramble any more on about random actress chyx?!) Anyways, I always thought Nicky Aycox talked funny. But that was her and not an affectation of Meg. But Meg as portrayed by Rachel Miner talks the same way. I guess that's their way of tying it back to the original character, by having Rachel try to mimic the way Nicki talks?

I guess mentioning she's in the ep is kinda a spoiler, but I'll use a spoiler cut for the rest. So Dean is supposed to be a vessel for Michael, but like all angels, Dean has to give his consent to allow Michael to possess him? And I didn't believe Castiel was dead for a second, given he was still in the credits. Hmm, so the implication is god brought him back. Now did he bring both him and Jimmy back, or did he just bring Castiel back but like Anna, let him continue to look like Jimmy. Though I guess its no prob for god to do the former. But it should be a concern, since Jimmy has a family.

And heh, I didn't think they'd kill Bobby, because I think the fans would like riot or something given he's the Winchesters' father figure (a better one than their actual dad!). And the show seems to be in touch with the fans, naming characters after TWoP recappers, poking fun at stuff on the boards and slash fic that's written. (Which, okay, the fangirl who was writing Win-slash as a character was kinda hilarious) So he's only crippled after being possessed. Though that seems odd that he would be possessed. If the Winchesters learned the tattoo trick to prevent demon possession, you'd think Bobby would easily know that.

And so they have Jacob from Lost playing Lucifer. Or rather, his vessel. Since he is a fallen angel, he technically needs the vessel's permission to ride him. Looks like he succeeded. Though either Castiel or Zachariah was saying if he got the vessel the world would burn. But they made it sound like it would be all apocalyptic once Lucifer possessed the guy, as if the effects would be immediate. But I'm guessing they meant he has more power to manipulate and go about in the physical world now, so its a slow, figurative burn?

Thanks for the let down! I depend on you to hype things up for me so I can tear them down myself! Lol! I have yet to watch... Your Mom recorded it for me. The only reason I planned to was cause I actually read the books back in the day. Not like that would help considering I don't remember a thing a second after I read it! HAHAHAH!!!

Oh and I thought the dude was some random Rob Lowe wannabe... Which would be worse! Am I dating myself?
